**Job overview and responsibilities**
The Senior Analyst - Inventory Management is responsible for the strategic productivity and tactical execution of United Airlines' aircraft spare parts inventory. The Senior Analyst will accomplish tactical inventory execution through active project management and inventory planning. Responsibilities include:
+ A continuous focus on improving operational reliability by minimizing aircraft out-of-service events, delays, and cancellations related to the unavailability of spare aircraft parts
+ Primary focus on exceptions to automated inventory planning tools including, but not limited to: development and execution of inventory required to support new station set ups, deallocation and redistribution of inventory due to station closures, new fleet initial provisioning, individual component pooling agreement coordination and management, external component management agreements, allocations in support of initiatives outside the scope of planning processes
+ Out-of-service aircraft event investigation, reporting, and mitigation as necessary
+ Providing actionable insight to short- and long-term forecasts for the purposes of budgetary planning and integrated business planning
+ Executing against forecast and budgetary projections
+ Utilizing analytical dashboards, automated tools, and the airline's transaction-based computer ERP system (SCEPTRE)
