**About Client Tax Operations**
The Client Tax Operations (CTO) organization works across JPMorgan Chase to ensure compliance to tax reporting regulations by implementing and maintaining appropriate processes, governance, oversight and controls. Tax Reporting and Withholding Services (TRWS) is a group within CTO that provides solutions for US 1099/1098/1042S information tax reporting, FATCA/CRS automated exchange of Information reporting and 1042/945 withholding depository services. These solutions involve overseeing the delivery of client tax statements and integration into internal and external customer facing channels, filing with the IRS/States and International Tax Authorities, remitting tax withholding liabilities to US State and Federal Revenue agencies, and coordinating responses to IRS issued notices. TRWS service scope spans over 180 different businesses/product groups across the firm including CIB, CIB and Corp. TRWS also provides tax reporting and withholding services to the Benefit Payment Services group supporting retirement distributions tied to Securities Services
Tax Authorities around the world are expanding tax reporting requirements to collect additional tax revenue and to reduce tax evasion. As part of Tax Reporting & Withholding Services, the Tax Reporting Associate position will join our growing team in Bangalore involved with providing solutions and services tied to meeting these demanding and frequently changing tax reporting and withholding compliance events and processes. The core functional process centers around TRWS's Tax Payment Services (TPS) involving large dollar payments to US federal and state tax authorities. Evening shift coverage for the TPS process is necessary to meet US federally regulated depository deadlines. As expertise is gained with Tax Payment Services the Tax Associate will rotate into various seasonal tax reporting support functions involved with US federal and state 1099/1098/1042S tax reporting and FATCA/CRS tax reporting. These rotational assignments will involve afternoon coverage enabling TRWS to utilize a 24 hour support model between US and Bangalore sites. Flexibility between evening shift and afternoon shift will be important and rotations will be assigned well advanced to accommodate the flexibility required. Career progression will be commensurate with competency around the various processes and complexity of activity performed.

The team works in partnership with Corporate Tax to drive common standards, a consistent view of risk, and common controls across the firm's corporate and lines of business ("LOB") tax operations functions. The team will also drive synergies, best practices, and efficiencies across the groups and support a variety of regulatory programs.
The Quality Assurance (QA) position is within the Governance & Oversight Team of the CIB Tax Utility and will support the QA program through the automation of existing and new Tax QA testing processes.
