We are seeking highly motivated **Bioinformatics Interns** to support our customer discovery efforts and assist in the development of ML algorithms.
**Position Overview**:
We are looking for fresh graduates or students pursuing a Master's degree in Bioinformatics or related fields to join our team as interns. The role is multidisciplinary, involving both **customer discovery** (understanding user needs) and **machine learning development** (building AI models for medical data). This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain hands-on experience in both technical development and product-market fit research.
**Key Responsibilities**:Customer Discovery**:
- Conduct user research by interviewing patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
- Collect and analyze feedback to identify pain points and opportunities in the market.
- Translate customer insights into technical requirements for product development.
- Assist in the design and deployment of surveys/questionnaires to gather large-scale user data.

**Machine Learning & Bioinformatics**:

**Required Qualifications**:
- **Pursuing or recently graduated** with a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or related fields.
- **Strong understanding** of biological datasets (genomic, proteomic, etc.) and experience in bioinformatics tools.
- **Proficiency in programming languages** such as Python or R, particularly for data analysis and machine learning.
- Experience with **machine learning frameworks** (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn).

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations and Quantum Mechanics (QM) calculations to deeply understand biomolecular interactions (protein-ligand, lipid-protein, lipid-nucleic acid interactions, etc.), support small molecule or PROTAC design, facilitate catalyst design for chemical reactions, investigate complex chemical reaction mechanisms, and conduct polymorph screening.
- Define appropriate data models and identify relevant features for developing AI/ML-based models for predicting crucial properties such as ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, Toxicity) profiles, lattice energies, reaction yields, and selectivity.
- Understand, analyze, critique, and implement cutting-edge research, effectively tailoring the approaches to specific problem contexts.
