Job Title: Site Engineer | Quantity Surveyor
Location: On-site – Kota–Baran NH-27 Project, Rajasthan

About the Role:
We are seeking a Civil Engineer for our ongoing Strengthening and Overlay of Four-Laning of Kota–Baran Section of NH-27 from Km to in the state of Rajasthan.
The ideal candidate will handle field surveying, level submission, daily measurement recording, supervision of ongoing works, and coordination with the Authority Engineer for quality and inspection approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
Surveying & Level Management
- Conduct surveying and leveling of the existing road (Main Carriageway, Service Road, and associated works).
- Submit and maintain levels before and after each construction layer — milling, DBM, and BC — in coordination with the QA/QC team and AE.
- Prepare and maintain level books , chainage-wise data, and reference benchmarks for all site sections.
- Ensure accuracy of levels during cross-section checks, longitudinal profiles, and setting out .
Site Supervision & Project Management
- Daily site supervision of construction activities including GSB, WMM, DBM, BC , and ancillary works like shoulders, side drains, and medians .
- Assist the project engineer in day-to-day project planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain strict compliance with drawings, MoRTH/IRC specifications, and NHAI guidelines .
- Coordinate with batching plant and lab teams for quality and production requirements.
Measurement & Reporting
- Perform daily measurement of works executed (layer-wise quantities of GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, etc.).
- Record all measurements in level books and measurement registers , cross-verified with AE.
- Prepare and update Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and forward them to the Project Manager.
- Execute quantity calculation and bill preparation for interim RA bills and monthly progress submissions.
Inspection & Documentation
- Raise RFIs (Requests for Inspection) for each layer/activity and ensure timely inspection with the Authority Engineer.
- Maintain records of approvals, drawings, and inspection reports for submission to AE/NHAI.
- Assist in as-built drawings , layer-wise records, and maintaining survey control points throughout the project.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in highway / road construction (preferably NHAI or MoRTH projects).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Total Station, GPS Surveying , and MS Excel .
- Good knowledge of MoRTH specifications , level management, and DPR documentation.
- Capable of handling project-site teams and interacting effectively with AE & Client representatives.

The Construction Manager executes job plans by coordinating and scheduling assignments, coordinating the materials logistics, crews, and tools required to complete projects on time and within budget. Frequent communication and proactive planning to both internal and external customers. A key team position to coordinate all efforts to satisfy customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Reports to the Operations Manager and coordinates to lead teams remotely at a project site.
- Strong knowledge of DAS, Small Cell, RF cabling, fiber optic installations, and related infrastructure.
- Experience working in venues such as hospitals, commercial buildings, stadiums, airports, and campuses.
- Ability to coordinate, implement, and complete multiple projects at the same time
- Assemble and install communication equipment iDAS, oDAS, BTS, repeater systems and other
- Ability to problem solve and develop solutions on site to ensure projects are moving forward
- RF tools (e.g., iBwave, RF Vision, PIM/Sweep testers)
- Ability to demonstrate expertise in at least one DAS proficiency (cabling. Fiber, BTS/HE, conduit/electrical)
- Working knowledge of test equipment including PIM testing, sweep analyzers, circuits, OTDR and signal generating sets (as it pertains to your job field)
- Working knowledge of test gear software for analyzing test results
- Troubleshooting skills to handle trouble tickets, alarming, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other workers in order to locate and correct malfunctions
- Perform daily safety meetings, JSA’s, tool box meetings and ensure a safe working environment for crews
- Prepare and distribute regular performance and status reports as required.
- Material Management
- Conduct site surveys, quality checks and job audits.
- Customer support, including: interfacing with the customer, providing guidance on problem resolution, insuring on time customer service, and maintaining a strong customer relations.
- Understands, adheres to, & promotes the Environmental, Health & Safety policies of AFL Telecom.
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ DAS Construction management experience with in-building distributed antenna systems (IDAS)
- Associate’s degree in related field required or a minimum of five years equivalent experience in a similar technical management position
- Extensive relevant technical experience to include fundamental understanding of iDAS, oDAS, BTS, repeater systems and other related systems.
- Familiarity with business concepts related to the use of information technologies and networking in all aspects of business and organizational operations for the achievement of business/operating objectives

- Coax Cable Connections – Ability to train and mentor others on proper techniques for coax cable connectorization. Experience with JMA Compression Connectors preferred.
- Electrical Knowledge – Must have basic knowledge of electrical code and Low Voltage and High Voltage power designs including breakers, power meters, etc. to manage subcontractors.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background screening (no misdemeanor or felony convictions).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a minimum of 1 years driving experience.
- Ability to use MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for reporting.
- OSHA10 Certification Required, OSHA30 strongly preferred.

This role demands end-to-end ownership from detailed construction planning through to safe, high-quality commissioning ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with zero tolerance for unsafe acts.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Mobilization
- Develop and maintain detailed Site Execution Plans, including work breakdown structures, resource schedules, and logistics strategies.
- Lead pre-construction surveys, risk assessments and readiness reviews to anticipate site constraints (access, terrain, weather, local permissions).
- Establish on-site construction office, Guest Houses, procure/allocate equipment, materials and staffing in collaboration with Procurement and HR.
Execution & Quality Management
- Direct all civil, mechanical, electrical and SCADA works, ensuring adherence to design specifications, contractual requirements and industry codes.
- Implement and enforce the Project Quality Assurance Plan (QAP); manage NCR tracking, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Oversee EPC contractor performance, certify progress invoices and validate “as-built” documentation for handover.
Commissioning & Handover
- Coordinate pre-commissioning, SAT and commissioning activities with vendors, grid operators (CTU/STU), and Owner’s Engineer to satisfy all technical and lender requirements.
- Coordination to secure Completion Certificates (CEIG, fire safety, environmental), bay energization approvals and final grid synchronization.
- Manage punch-list closure, prepare Operation & Maintenance handover packages and ensure knowledge transfer to O&M teams.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Champion a zero-tolerance safety culture, site audits, toolbox talks and incident investigations.
- Enforce compliance with corporate HSE standards, local labor laws and environmental regulations; maintain HSE registers and reporting dashboards.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Liaison
- Interface with local authorities, utilities, landowners and community representatives to secure site access, permits and clearances.
- Facilitate inspections by lenders’ technical advisors, statutory bodies and third-party auditors; address observations promptly.
Financial & Reporting Controls
- Monitor project budgets, track cost variances and implement mitigation measures; review subcontractor claims and change orders.
- Deliver weekly/monthly status updates—covering progress, forecasts, risks and mitigation plans—to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience:
- 12+ years in construction management of large-scale renewable Solar projects in India.
- Proven track record delivering ≥100 MWp solar projects from ground-breaking to COD.
- Hands-on experience with EPC contracting models, quality systems and commissioning of 33/132/220 kV substations and transmission lines.
- Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of project controls, construction methods, grid-code requirements and statutory approvals (CEIG, environmental, land).
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6 and standard ERP modules for procurement and finance.
