Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Civil 3D Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in civil drafting using Autodesk Civil 3D . The successful candidate will lead and support a variety of civil engineering projects, including land development, site planning, grading, drainage, roadways, and utility .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the development of detailed civil plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Create and manage:
• Existing and proposed surfaces
• Grading and earthwork models
• Alignments, profiles, and corridors
• Pipe networks (storm, sanitary, water)
• Cross-sections and plan & profile sheets
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and drafters to deliver high-quality 2d documents
• Oversee preparation of construction drawings, reports, and permitting documents
• Perform checks, QA/QC, and resolve complex technical issues
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and utility providers as needed
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and help standardize Civil 3D workflows and templates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D in a professional setting
• Expertise in:
• Grading and earthwork design
• Utility layout and profiles
• Stormwater management and drainage systems
• Roadway or site development
• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards and permitting processes

Job Role & Responsibilities:

·   We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Structure Designer to join our bridge engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing temporary works and specialized construction equipment used during bridge erection and related civil infrastructure projects. This includes form travelers, launching gantries, scaffolding, falsework, lifting frames, and other consultant-designed equipment.

·   Design and analyse temporary structures and equipment used in bridge construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety codes, and engineering standards.

·   Develop detailed CAD drawings, 3D models, and structural calculations for temporary works (e.g., formwork systems, support structures, erection equipment).

·   Coordinate with bridge design consultants, contractors, and equipment fabricators to integrate temporary structures with permanent works.

·   Perform structural analysis using software such as STAAD.Pro, Midas Civil, SofiStik etc.

·   Support construction teams by providing technical guidance during the fabrication, installation, and use of temporary works.

·   Review subcontractor designs and ensure constructability, safety, and cost-efficiency.

·   Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and method statements.

·   Conduct site visits as necessary to oversee implementation and troubleshoot structural or equipment-related issues.

Qualifications & Proffered Skills: -

·   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.

·   5+ years of experience in temporary structure design, preferably in bridge or infrastructure projects .

·   Proficiency in structural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, MIDAS, etc.)

·   Knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, AASHTO, BS, EN).

·   Experience with construction staging and erection engineering is a plus.

·   Strong understanding of bridge construction methods (e.g., balanced cantilever, incremental launching, segmental, etc.).

·   Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

·   Familiarity with contractor operations and construction site environments.

·   Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
