About The Role

Principle Accountabilities would be as follows:
Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Support in devising a comprehensive ROI-driven customer-centric Marketing Strategy for South Asia to support both Print and Digital Sales / Trade & Channel Partners and Institutional Customers / End-Users
  • Support in Chalking out strategies for enhancing Cambridge - Academic's Brand Presence and Visibility in Local Markets

Customer Engagement

  • Lead and organize Customer Engagement workshops for End-Users at key institutional customers for driving the usage of our online books and journals portfolio.
  • Find effective and novel ways to engage with our authors and leverage the association to enhance Academic's brand presence and visibility.

Author Engagements

  • Lead engagements with Authors on their book promotions.
  • Brief authors on their promotion plan and ensure that all the promotions (both online & offline) are done & delivered in time.

Usage Enhancement

  • Work with internal sales and product teams to track and grow usage across key accounts.
  • Deploy campaigns aimed at increasing discoverability and usage of digital platforms (journals and eBooks).
  • Create content (videos, infographics, guides) to promote access and usability.

Submissions Support

  • Coordinate communication for journal submission drives – emailers, campaigns, and faculty visits.
  • Assist in educating faculty and researchers on the submission process, benefits, and platform features.

Digital & Social Media Marketing and e-Commerce Promotions

  • Support in devising a comprehensive Digital and Social Media Marketing roadmap for Academic Business
  • Continue to Build and Develop an Engaged Community of Target Audience - Researchers, Faculty Members, Librarians and Authors
  • Content Marketing – Create rich, meaningful, engaging and interactive content from our customers – authors / librarians
