Join Goodstart Early Learning’s national property team and play a key role in expanding and enhancing our network of early learning centres.
As our Grants & Funding Specialist, you’ll lead the development and delivery of property-related grant applications—supporting new centre developments and upgrades across the country.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams and government stakeholders to identify funding opportunities, prepare high-quality submissions, and ensure reporting and compliance requirements are met.

Your Impact:
As the Grants & Funding Specialist, your work will directly enable Goodstart to grow and enhance its national network of early learning centres—ensuring more children have access to high-quality early education. By identifying and securing vital infrastructure funding, you’ll help bring new centres to life and support critical upgrades that improve learning environments for thousands of children.
Your ability to manage complex grant processes, build strong relationships with internal teams and government stakeholders, and deliver high-quality submissions will be key to unlocking new opportunities and ensuring funding is maximised. You’ll bring to the table:
- Proven experience preparing professional communications, including grant funding submissions (highly regarded)
- Strong project coordination skills with experience managing timelines or critical paths
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted internal relationships and external partnerships
- Background in the early childhood sector and knowledge of the National Quality Framework (desirable, not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Monday.com is a plus
- Flexibility to travel domestically as required
- Current Working with Children Check for your State/Territory
