JOB DESCRIPTION –
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Coordinator to manage the operational, financial, and performance aspects of renewable energy projects. The role will involve working with SAP systems for procurement and accounting processes, monitoring the performance of renewable energy assets, and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of renewable energy assets.
• Monitor and track asset performance using advanced tools to ensure efficiency and uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and implement improvement strategies.
SAP and Accounting:
• Manage SAP-based workflows for purchase requisitions (PR), purchase orders (PO), and goods receipt notes (GRN) for renewable energy projects and Management.
• Process invoices and ensure accurate allocation of costs to renewable energy assets in alignment with accounting policies.
• Prepare and submit financial reports on asset performance, cost breakdowns, and profitability analyses.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data for renewable energy assets.
• Compare actual performance against benchmarks and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Project Support:
• Assist in the execution of improvement projects for renewable energy assets, including energy efficiency initiatives and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with site-level teams and vendors for maintenance, troubleshooting, and other operational needs.
• Support digitalization efforts by streamlining processes for data collection , tracking, and reporting.
Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and local regulations in all project activities.
• Maintain accurate records of SAP transactions, asset performance metrics, and financial data.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
5+ years of experience in renewable energy asset management, understanding of renewable energy technologies, grid interconnection processes, and power purchase agreements (PPAs).
1. Understanding of renewable energy systems, including performance monitoring and optimization.
2. Expertise in SAP modules, especially for procurement and financial accounting processes.
3. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Share responsibility with the Project Manager (PM) through close coordination for scope management, schedule, risk management, and quality management.
+ Accountable for the end-to-end software delivery to meet the schedule, cost and quality commitments.
+ Project Execution control: Build effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as well as accurately track, update, and report task activity progress. Manage project team and activities to drive project deliverables

The Energy Efficiency Subject Matter Expert will lead the design and implementation of energy optimization and carbon reduction initiatives across industrial and commercial sectors. This role involves conducting audits, developing technical solutions, and supporting the integration of energy efficiency measures into national and global carbon credit frameworks (PAT, ISO 50001, VCS, CDM, GS). The position combines technical expertise, compliance knowledge, and project execution skills to deliver measurable decarbonization outcomes.
**1. Energy Efficiency Projects**
- Lead technical evaluations and implement energy-saving initiatives
- Conduct detailed energy audits and feasibility studies
- Design and document energy-saving and emission reduction measures
- Develop M&V protocols in line with IPMVP, ISO 50001, and BEE guidelines
**2. Carbon Project Support**
- Quantify emission reductions from energy efficiency interventions
- Align projects with VCS, CDM, and GS methodologies
- Prepare documentation for validation, verification, and credit issuance
**3. Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement**
- Liaise with sustainability heads, energy managers, and verifiers
- Ensure adherence to BEE and PAT scheme compliance requirements
- Represent the company in engagements with certifiers and authorities
**4. Technical Analysis & Reporting**
- Use tools and models for project tracking and performance analysis
- Prepare energy balance sheets, emissions reports, and ROI assessments
- Provide data-driven insights to internal and client stakeholders
**5. Capacity Building & Internal Training**
- Mentor internal teams on EE project design and carbon linkages
- Conduct client workshops and technical training sessions
**Qualifications & Experience**
**Education & Certifications**
- Master’s in Energy Management, Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
- Preferred: Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) - BEE
**Experience**
- 6-8 years total experience, including 3-5 years in energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects
- Proven success in PAT, ISO 50001, or similar schemes
- Hands-on experience with M&V protocols and industrial energy systems
- End-to-end execution of carbon projects with credit issuance
**Key Skills**
- Deep knowledge of industrial energy systems and process integration
- Expertise in energy modeling tools, audits, and performance benchmarking
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills
- Experience across sectors like manufacturing, utilities, and buildings
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with ESCO model projects and integrating EE into offset programs
