In this role, you will be responsible to increase the Revenue and Profitability through acquisition of new clients, responsible for growing the business and achieve the Revenue and Gross Profit targets as set by the management from time to time through proper execution of sales strategy and focusing on key products and trade lanes as decided by the management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve revenue and volume targets set by Management.
- Provide regular sales activity and performance reports to Management.
- Drive new sales, increase profit margins, and enhance customer satisfaction through regular business reviews with existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed sales revenue and profitability goals for air & ocean business.
- Conduct regular sales and customer service meetings internally and externally.
- Negotiate with clients, prepare rate quotes, proposals, and sales materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners/customers.
- Engage daily with customers to assess needs and resolve issues.
- Support the development and implementation of Sales and Marketing procedures.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Create and manage a freight program tailored to clients’ needs, balancing transit times, costs, and market conditions.
- Provide weekly and monthly business reports to Management.
- Review customer profitability, focus on high-margin accounts, and create action plans for low-margin clients.
- Conduct formal reviews of previous year's activities and plan for the upcoming year.
- Negotiate favorable Accounts Receivable terms with customers.
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
**Experience**:
- Minimum 2-4 years of Field Sales experience (**Executive/ Senior Ex)** & 4 - 8 years (**Assistant Manager/ Manager**) in freight forwarding, NVOCC.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, NVOCC and international shipping.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
