Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the airline industry, specifically in Passenger Service Systems (PSS) and related domains such as Inflight Services, Catering, Entertainment, and Retail. This role combines business analysis and functional testing expertise, requiring the candidate to gather and document business requirements, drive process improvements, and ensure effective collaboration across development, QA, and operations teams. The candidate will also develop and execute test strategies, manage defect resolution, and contribute to end-to-end project implementation.


Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory)

- Experience: 5 to 8 years in business analysis and quality assurance roles.

- Airline Industry Expertise: Knowledge of Passenger Service Systems (PSS) and cabin crew briefing requirements.

- Business Analysis Skills: Proven experience in gathering requirements, documentation, and business process improvement.

- Testing Skills: Test strategy development, execution of functional test cases, API testing (Postman, SoapUI), and integration testing.

- Defect Management: Proficiency in defect tracking, collaboration with development teams, and resolution of issues.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working with product, QA, and operations teams.

- Data Analysis: Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).

- End-to-End Testing: Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and full project lifecycle management.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Good to Have Skillsets (Optional)

- Travel Industry Knowledge: Experience in Inflight Services, Catering, Entertainment, Retail, and Travel Commerce.

- Project Management: Ability to develop detailed project plans and manage timelines.

- Business Analysis Tools: Proficiency with business analysis tools and methodologies.

- Documentation Skills: Expertise in creating functional specifications, user stories, test reports, and other documentation.

- Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset and problem-solving skills.

- Testing and Support: Experience in supporting testing, defect analysis, and issue resolution in coordination with product development and support teams.


Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven track record in a Business Analyst role within the airline or travel industry.

- Project Lifecycle: Experience in full project lifecycle management, from requirements gathering to solution deployment.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
