VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join Southpaws Specialty, Emergency & Referral Hospital in Malvern, in Victoria, Australia.

The Opportunity
Through internal growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Surgical Specialist with at least 1 year of specialist experience to join our talented team. You will have access to a varied and diverse caseload, from minimally
invasive techniques through to advanced soft tissue, neurologic and orthopaedic surgery. In addition, Southpaws offers a Specialist Anaesthesia Department enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring pain-free recoveries.
You will be supported by an established network of referral clinicians, residents and interns and will be invited to contribute towards Southpaws strong tradition of providing superior training and development programs for the veterinary profession.
To be considered for this role you must have the required credentials (DVM or BVSc and European, American or Australian boarded Specialist) and be eligible for veterinary registration in the state of Victoria.

- Medical writing and Publications (10%): Writing product specific scientific content, presentations, manuscript and facilitating journal publications. Developing publication plan and driving the same.
- New Product Evaluations (10%): New Product Evaluation Review & Support, Keeping scientific watch on competitor activity, watching global development of new product.
- Medical Information and Training (10%): Keeping updated to all stakeholders on recent development of therapy area. Taking training sessions in internal meetings wherever needed.
- Compliance: Following the compliance for all activities mentioned above.
