Role OverviewWe’re seeking a strong Backend Developer with AI experience to join our team. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support our AI-powered healthcare products. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, frontend engineers, and product leaders to bring advanced AI models into production.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support healthcare AI applications.
- Integrate AI/ML models into production environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) to deploy and optimize backend services.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, storing, and serving large healthcare datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI/ML, product, frontend) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy/security standards (HIPAA, PHI handling).
- Optimize backend performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- 4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer / Software Engineer .
- Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, or Java (Python preferred for AI workflows).
- Hands-on experience integrating and deploying AI/ML models into production systems.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), RESTful APIs , and microservices architecture .
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model lifecycle management.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7) is a big plus.
- Experience with Kafka, Spark, or other data processing frameworks .
- Exposure to GraphQL APIs .
- Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD for AI pipelines.
