Job overview and responsibilities

The Manager - Inventory Management manages provisioning and inventory planning of expendable parts and rotable parts to support the maintenance operation of United Airlines fleets. This includes planning of inventory investment and optimal inventory levels to adequately support maintenance needs. Continuously monitors the performance of the inventory plans. Accountable for identifying automation and integration opportunities to improve efficiency and support organizational goals.

  • Develop strategic and tactical inventory plans for rotable and expendable parts to support the expected changes in schedule and maintenance operations
  • Manage the team in making daily strategic adjustments to station inventory levels for rotable and expendable parts to support the maintenance operations
