Responsibilities:
- Obtain quotes and arrange pick up or release on all orders considered to be “minor equipment”. (i.e. LTL, FTL, containers, air freight, courier, export packaging, etc.)
- Coordinate the transportation and forwarding services of over-dimensional, heavy lift project cargo experience including, but not limited to, break-bulk ocean, rail, heavy haul, multi-modal containers, trucking, barge, and air as required from origin to destination.
- Monitor and co-ordinate with various freight forwarders, third party agencies, ports, customs, subcontractors, handling agencies etc. to accelerate shipments and clearances.
