**Game Designer - Casual Mobile Games**:
As the Casual Game Designer, you will be responsible for a variety of casual games, creating fun and exciting mobile gaming experiences for players, all with your creative input. You will work closely with our Internal Development team, External Developers, Products, Producers and report directly to our Senior Game Designer.
**Responsibilities**
- Think creatively to produce new engaging ideas and concepts for game designs that align with the target audience and project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, programmers, game leads and producers to develop game concepts from ideation to execution.
- Create fully-fledged design documentation including game mechanics, core loops, level layouts, monetisation and progression systems.
- Conceptualize and design compelling game mechanics using modern mobile design principles.
- Balance and fine-tune game mechanics, economy, game difficulty pacing and player progression to ensure a rewarding player experience while maximising revenue opportunities.
- Create levels and additional content using Unity, for new and existing games.
- Evolve and adapt game designs based on play testing, feedback and live metrics.
- Maintain up-to-date approved design documentation to support the development team where necessary in Confluence
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a game design role with at least one published **casual game.**:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work creatively in a demanding team environment.
- Absolute passion for playing and making video games, especially mobile games.
- Strong creative ideas and imagination, able to entertain players with challenges, humour, surprises and fun.
- Positive attitude, self driven, able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of mobile game monetisation and advertising techniques.
- Based in one of our office hubs, following our hybrid model with 3 days per week on-site.
