BE/MCA/ME degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven minimum 10 years of work experience in MDM, data quality, and data governance, with a deep understanding of best practices and industry standards.
Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, concepts, and principles.
Experience with MDM solutions and data quality tools such as Informatica Power Centre/ Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or similar platforms.
Proficiency in data analysis, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex data issues.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) related to data governance and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and initiatives to ensure consistent and accurate data across the organization.
Establish and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to maintain data integrity and quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality standards, guidelines, and metrics, and implement data quality improvements.
Design and implement data quality assessment and profiling processes, resolving data issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead efforts to identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues within various data sources and systems.
Monitor and audit data quality, conducting regular quality checks and assessments to ensure adherence to standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align MDM, data quality, and governance initiatives with business objectives.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams in understanding and adhering to data governance and quality standards.
Evaluate, select, and implement data quality tools and technologies to support data governance and MDM initiatives.
