As a Material engineer at MKS-Atotech, you will be a part of materials science department under Chemical and Physical Characterization (CPC) for equal innovation partner in R&D as well as external customer samples for analysis and report generation. In this role, you will report to one of the Team Manager (Materials Science).
You Will Make an Impact By:
- You are primarily responsible for the independent execution, evaluation, and documentation of materials science investigation and handling instruments like SEM, XRF, Optical microscopy and SAP, Plant Maintenance, data management, Customer handling, Quality Management as well as customer specifications.
- Preparation of reports and archiving of results, deliver quality reports leading to good customer satisfaction
- Ensuring the operational readiness of the relevant devices
- Application, maintenance, and further development of the applied quality management systems (ISO 9001 ), including the creation of documents, reports, and policies (SOP)
- Participation in internal and external projects
- Maintain records and documentation for quality and process control
- Consulting of other departments and customers
- Participation in internal and external projects
Control of measuring devices - Ensure the operational availability of the laboratory equipment and troubleshooting of instruments
- Execute task in the 5S/4R program and, abide HSE rules
- Keep strict confidentiality of projects/process information
- Strictly abide MKS Atotech compliance policy
What will you bring to the team:
- B. Tech - Mechanical/ Chemical/ Material Engineer with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Result-oriented and independent work combined with a strong hands-on mentality
- Strong sense of responsibility and discretion
- Willingness to learn and enjoyment of working in a team combined with openness to change
- Good communication skills in English
- Good user knowledge of MS Office software and communication tools (e.g. MS Teams)
