Role OverviewAt Ratna Nidhi, we believe that financial knowledge is not just a subject—it’s a life skill. We are launching a large-scale Financial Literacy Programme to empower 8,000+ secondary school students from low-income schools in Mumbai.
We’ve developed a colourful, engaging 224-page curriculum with activity books and Q&A guides in simple English, specially designed to make financial concepts relatable for children. Now, we are seeking passionate Financial Literacy Teachers who can bring this content alive in classrooms.
Responsibilities- Teach financial literacy to secondary school students using our structured, activity-based curriculum.
- Simplify concepts like savings, budgeting, insurance, and responsible money management into fun, relatable lessons.
- Encourage interaction through activities, discussions, and question–answer sessions.
- Inspire and mentor students, especially those from underserved backgrounds, to see financial knowledge as a tool for their future.
- Provide regular feedback and progress updates to programme managers.
- Adapt teaching style with empathy and patience to suit diverse student mindsets.
Skills & Qualifications- Retired or experienced teachers/professors in Banking, Finance, or Commerce are especially encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills in English & Marathi with the ability to connect with young students.
- Teaching experience in classrooms or training environments preferred.
- Deep empathy for children from low-income schools and the ability to inspire them.
- Passion for education and willingness to commit 3–4 months (Nov–Jan).
