Job Description The Role consists in part of electronics hardware system integration of vehicles Hardware system requirements. This role also requires significant contribution to define system level HW architecture.This is an important area in the Hero initial phase and software integration section. To steer the hardware architecture development of vehicles, This job requires strong knowledge of the development process, validation and testing methodology, various electrical/electronic/mechanical interfaces, integration of signals. Designing and creation of vehicle hardware systems architecture as per IPC/ vehicle requirement
Power flow calculations/ sleep current calculation/ in rush current calculation/ Fuse rating calculations
Vehicle start and stop sequence pattern definition
Requirement creation for vehicle HW electronics interfaces
Electronics Schematics and vehicle schematics creation
Timing diagram creation of vehicle signal, mapping with CAN signal.
Coordination with component owners for right component design with system requirement
Coordination with software integration team

What We're Looking For:
Expertise in SolidWorks & AutoCAD
Deep knowledge of Injection Molding and Mold/Die Design
Strong background in DFMEA, Material Selection, and Statistical Process Control
12–22 years of experience in Plastic Design, preferably in medical devices, automotive, or engineering design
Qualification:
B.E. Mechanical
Diploma in Plastic Technology / Die & Mold

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the industrialization of plastic components from design freeze to SOP (Start of Production).
Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and drive improvements for tool and part design.
Interpret and analyze Mold Flow simulations to optimize gate location, cooling, and fill patterns.
Evaluate and select appropriate plastic materials (especially Nylon, PA6, PA66, PBT, PC, etc.) based on application requirements, environmental conditions, and mechanical performance.
Collaborate with design, quality, and purchasing teams for timely industrialization and localization of plastic components.
Support tool design, build, trials, and validation for injection molds.
Drive cost, quality, and lead time improvements with existing and new injection molding suppliers.
Audit and develop injection molding vendors across India to meet quality and capacity requirements.
Work with testing and validation teams to ensure parts meet functional and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot molding-related issues during development and post-SOP stages.
Create and maintain project documentation including technical reports, PPAP documents, and validation plans.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Polymer / Plastics Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in plastic part industrialization, especially in injection molding.
Proficient in DFM, mold flow simulation (Moldex3D / Autodesk Moldflow), tool design concepts, and GD&T.
In-depth knowledge of engineering plastics, especially nylon-based materials, their processing behavior, and application suitability.
Experience in working with automotive or industrial OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers preferred.
