Role Summary:


We are seeking a hands-on and visionary AI Architect to design and drive the technical

architecture of enterprise-grade AI systems. Reporting to the AI Program Manager this

role is pivotal in leading the design and integration of advanced AI solutions including

Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, and Transformer-based models. The AI Architect will

work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to

ensure scalable, modular, and future-ready AI architectures.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and own the AI solution architecture for enterprise use cases involving GenAI, agentic workflows, and Transformer models.
  • Lead the technical design and architectural governance of end-to-end AI systems from ingestion to inference and orchestration.
  • Design modular and reusable components using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and OpenAI function calling.
  • Guide integration of AI models with internal systems (CRM, ERP, ticketing, HR, etc.) and external APIs through tool/function agents.
  • Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
  • Ensure scalability, resilience, and observability of AI infrastructure in production environments.
  • Collaborate with MLOps, Data Engineering, and Security teams to enforce best practices in deployment, monitoring, and governance.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, libraries, and platforms (open-source and commercial) aligned with long-term AI strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and responsible AI guidelines throughout the solution lifecycle.


Required Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, with 4+ years specifically in AI/ML solution architecture.
  • Deep understanding of Transformer architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT, T5) and their real-world applications.
  • Experience designing and scaling GenAI and LLM-based applications, including prompt engineering and model fine-tuning.
  • Proven expertise in architecting Agentic AI solutions, multi-agent orchestration, and tool integration.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Python, REST APIs, vector databases, and cloud-native architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model governance, and observability.
  • Bachelor’s or master ’s in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with LangChain, LanGraph, LlamaIndex, or other agentic AI frameworks.
  • Prior work in domains such as healthcare, telecom, BFSI, or manufacturing.
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud/on-prem AI architectures and GPU resource optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, deep experience in Microsoft 365 tools—particularly Share Point and Power Automate—and the capability to integrate and automate systems using APIs and Python scripting.This role is essential in driving digital transformation and operational efficiency, ensuring scalable, automated solutions that align with global business objectives.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end business processes across departments and regions.Layout automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and other Microsoft 365 technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, map current processes, and identify automation opportunities.Integrate internal and external systems using RESTful APIs to enable seamless data flow and reduce manual effort.Understand how and when Python can be utilized for data processing, custom automation scripts, and API integrations where applicable.Document business processes, technical specifications, and solutions in a structured and accessible format.Conduct workshops, training, and change management sessions for business stakeholders on automation tools and best practices.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business process engineering or automation within an IT environment.Prior experience as a software developer is strongly preferred, bringing a technical edge to process design and implementation.Solid expertise in Microsoft 365, particularly Power Automate, Share Point, and Teams.Proven experience in API integration and system communication using RESTful services.Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation tasks.Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving and documentation.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, international setting.Benefits:Buddy programCafeteriaCompany eventsOnboarding programUnlimited employment contractBe part of UsHemmersbach provides IT infrastructure services in more than 190 countries with 50 own subsidiaries.
