The Role
The ERP Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance for the Pronto ERP system. This role involves troubleshooting issues, assisting users with system functionalities, and ensuring the ERP system operates efficiently to meet business needs.
Additionally, the ERP Specialist will support process improvement and development within the ERP system to enhance overall business operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide first-line support for ERP system issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
- Assist users in understanding and utilizing ERP system functionalities effectively
- Conduct training sessions for new users and provide ongoing support to existing users
- Work closely with the ICT Manager and other departments to understand business requirements and implement necessary system changes
- Be responsible for the end-to-end support of FBV ERP and key supplementary applications, including ecommerce and Salesforce integration
- Implement process improvements in the ERP system to optimize operations
- Support the customization of the ERP system internally
- Document development and maintenance of the ERP system
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides
- Oversee all management and operational controls of the application and support the business with ongoing process improvements
- Perform regular system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Oversee and manage relationships with third-party suppliers, ensuring their services and products meet the company's standards and requirements
What You Bring To The Role
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in ERP system support (preferably with Pronto)
- Familiarity with database management, system integration, and software development
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (e.g., Pronto, Epicor, M3)
- Basic coding/development capabilities
- Understanding of finance/back-end systems
- Experience with warehouse operations preferred
- A valid driver's license for travel between our locations
- A passion for their mission and desire to make a difference in the community

The Company
Our client, a listed mining company with a global portfolio of assets in Australia, Africa, Europe, and South America is going through extremely exciting times. The role is offered either Perth based or FIFO. The FIFO roster is 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off with flights, accommodation, meals etc. covered by the client.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager - Pronto the primary duties of the role will cover:
- Implement and manage allocated projects.
- Drive forward process improvements at the sites in regards to all areas of operations.
- Project administration, documentation, including the development of guided work instructions and process flows for users and the business.
- Ensure that key stakeholders are informed on progress providing regular updates, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assuring measurement of the progress to objectives.
- Enhance training programs to benefit users, business, and mentoring team members.
- Ability to support the product tools and enhance reporting needs.
- Utilisation of technology to improve processes and systems.
- Remote assistance and/or travel to sites for assigned tasks
About You
To be successful in this role it is envisaged that you will be able to demonstrate the following:
• ERP application experience, including system development and support experience.
• Minimum 5 years business experience in the mining or heavy industry, with cross business knowledge.
• Must understand key business requirements in Mining.
• Good knowledge of international accounting fundamentals within a business is essential, including strong understanding of process flows.
• Good experience with ERP operational/engineering modules such as maintenance, financial and supply chain modules.
• Project management skills demonstrating experience including documentation.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work with users and staff at all levels.
• Ability to operate independently with efficiency and accuracy to meet deadlines and set a standard for all users of the Pronto ERP system.
• Positive 'can do' attitude in problem solving and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of Pronto-Xi and IBM Cognos reporting tool will be advantageous.
