Your day will involve strategic oversight, real-time problem-solving, and ensuring our infrastructure operates with unparalleled precision. You'll collaborate across teams, manage shift operations, and drive initiatives that push the boundaries of operational excellence.


About the team
The Global Facility Operations Center proactively monitors the life-safety systems and the infrastructure equipment (e.g., chillers, temperature sensors, generators, UPSs, switchgear, breakers) that provides power and cooling to the platform on a global 24x7x365 basis. We support Data Center Engineer Operations teams who are responsible for the operation of infrastructure equipment. Our role is to ensure that critical alarms are properly Responded to, Acknowledged, Investigated, and Dispatched (RAID). Additionally, the Facility Operations Center serves as a communications hub during both standard and emergency operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience

The AWS Data Center Community (DCC) organization is looking for an individual with proven and tested leadership skills to join the Facility Operation Center (FOC) team. The FOC launched as a singular support team to proactively monitor the life-safety systems and the infrastructure equipment alarms that provides power and cooling to the platform on a global 24x7x365 basis. We support Data Center Engineer Operations teams who are responsible for the operation of infrastructure equipment.
The FOC Technical Specialist facilitates and deep dives customer impacting events, locates systemic infrastructure issues using data driven analysis to drive solutions and serves as a subject matter expert on department processes. The FOC Technical Specialist is responsible for the design, creation, and launch of new learning content, creating and maintaining all FOC documentation globally and managing the technical training of the team across the regions. You will play a significant role in the career development of the global FOC team by mentoring and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members. You are responsible for leading team members across regions and functional areas to accomplish organizational goals. You will guide the team on improving operational efficiency for all services through the identification and development of SLAs, metrics, workflows, procedures tools and documentation. You will lead data analysis and engagement of partner teams to drive corrective actions by utilizing processes, such as After Action Reports (AAR), Correction of Errors (COE), AWS Customer Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lessons Learned, and Global Action Items. You will be responsible for delivering global projects while influencing stakeholders by creating reports, improving processes, and narratives. You will be expected run effective projects and programs independently. You will support team goals and projects by providing feedback, and technical support as required.

**Role Outline/Job Summary**
The Global Research Center (GRC) of Citi Research in Mumbai is a full research office working with Equities Research, Fixed Income Research, Commodities Research, Rates and Structured Products Research and Equity Quant Research. The successful candidate will join the Citi Research's Global Research Center in Mumbai and will work directly with Citi's Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) Infrastructure team. The role will focus on the coverage of companies in the broad infrastructure sector (shipping, ports and toll roads sector). The work will involve commercial and financial analysis of company performance, maintaining industry databases and financial modelling, and valuations.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
The Analyst will work closely with MENA Industrials team. The responsibilities include:
+ building financial models, writing research reports, conducting macroeconomic analysis on the stock / industry, communicating the team's ideas to institutional investors, conducting due diligence and working with Citi's product team to identify trends in the space.
+ Maintenance of quarterly preview sheets for key products to include volume, pricing and currency effects on sales.

The Centralized Research Group is a part of the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Research & Analytics vertical. The team works closely with the firm's global Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking teams on marketing materials and executions - related to M&A, equity capital raising or debt capital raising.

The Infrastructure Finance and Advisory team originates, structures, and executes infrastructure finance transactions in developed and emerging markets. The team’s coverage is global, financing greenfield and brownfield projects across sectors such as transportation, energy, power, telecommunications, and social infrastructure, as well as acquisition financing in these sectors. Team members have backgrounds in project finance, emerging markets, structured finance, and commodities, and work with colleagues in M&A advisory, debt capital markets, derivatives structuring, and other coverage and product groups.

As a CRG Analyst, you will work closely with the IFA team in London, providing support for preparing pitch books, financial modeling analyses, marketing and other support materials that the senior client bankers take to their clients during meetings. Candidates should have an interest in infrastructure, strong communication, analytical and technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of pitch material: Work with associates and analysts to prepare marketing materials for client pitches including relevant market / industry updates, ratings advisory materials, and debt / transaction comps
  • Work on drafting financing proposals, investor materials, road show marketing materials, rating agency presentations, and other marketing materials
  • Financial analysis: Develop financial models and complete financial analyses for infrastructure projects across all sectors
  • Deal execution: Coordinating on execution work (. develop analytical pages / prepare model outputs) for relevant ongoing deals 
  • Research: Source and interpret company, project & industry information from a variety of data sources (company reports, Internet, online databases, JPMorgan proprietary content) with an aim to forming views on the industry, key trends and individual assets / companies. Summarize and synthesize news updates/research reports.
  • Pipeline / Internal Management: Coordinate internal tracking pipelines and manage other internal business workstreams as needed
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Master's Degree / CA qualification required
  • Strong analytic fundamentals including financial modeling (preferable if modelling experience in infra / project finance space)
  • Microsoft Office experience including Word, PowerPoint and Excel required
  • Ability to be a team player and maintain a positive attitude
  • Highly motivated self-starter, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work interfacing with a global team; managing requests as needed in a timely manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of the industry / debt and derivatives instruments is a plus
  • Prior knowledge of project finance / infrastructure is a plus 
  • CFA or similar qualifications is a plus
