We are recruiting for a Information Researcher to work with our Research/Library team.

Accountabilities:
**How you will contribute**:
- Checking in the received issue of active electronic subscription or the print subscription in the Library Management System software. After the check-in, sharing the received issue with the user (internal/external).
- Liaise with different Regional Directors (Country Analysis) regularly to get the latest list of editors/contributors covering different countries. Accordingly updating the team records.
- Timely update records in the Library Management System and other files which are accessible to the team internally.
- Assist with creating or updating newsletters using the news search database.
- Assist with handling quick research requests (using the databases available to the team or via secondary searches). We have access to different databases e.g. news article search database, financials for companies, industry/country reports database, etc.
- Maintain an effective relationship with Economist Intelligence Unit users from offices across the world.
- Ensure the quality of information provision and looking for ways in which this can be improved.
- To personally support the business by ensuring the smooth provision of information to the Company's editorial activities.
- Document the updates on time and make them easily accessible between the team.

Experience, skills and professional attributes:
**The ideal skills for this role include**:

- Experience in electronic delivery of information and comfortable with the internet and intranets.
- Knowledge of secondary research resources (e.g. news search databases, company financials databases, etc).
- Knowledge of collating specific information from various online resources.
- Confident with information, software packages, databases, and the internet.
- Exposure to a library management system would be an advantage.
- Experience in an administration role (desirable).
- Good writing skills
- Experience with Word and Excel packages.
- Communication skills, both internal and external.
- Interest in world affairs, economics, and politics.
- Experience: 2-3 years
