About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Sales Team Leader (Inside Sales) to lead our agri-inputs sales team. The role involves handling inbound/outbound sales calls with farmers and agro-dealers, managing a small team of sales executives, and ensuring revenue growth for our agrochemical products (fertilisers, insecticides, fungicides, PGRs, bio-products).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of inside sales executives to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Handle direct sales calls with farmers and agro-dealers across India.
- Train the team on sales pitches, objection handling, and detailed product knowledge .
- Convert inbound leads (from Ads, WhatsApp, and website) into orders.
- Negotiate with wholesale dealers for bulk orders .
- Track performance metrics, report sales numbers, and suggest improvements.
- Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Inside Sales / Telesales.
- Compulsory: Strong knowledge and prior experience with agrochemicals and agro-inputs (fertilisers, pesticides, fungicides, PGRs, bio-products).
- Strong communication skills in Hindi & English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
- Proven track record of closing sales and handling negotiations.
- Experience in managing or mentoring a small sales team.
- Target-driven with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
