**Introduction**
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
**Your role and responsibilities**
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of Maximo MAS upgrades, implementations and support.
* Be a technical expert in IBM Maximo EAM technology and have advanced knowledge of Python, JAVA and SQL.
* For any enhancement requests assess if existing Maximo OOB functionalities meet the desired requirement before recommending for customization
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Assess any customization needs, design as per underlying Maximo architecture, review with client IT team for required approval before implementation.
* Create integration points for new business solutions with legacy systems. Conduct system and integration testing as needed.
* Use workflow design and management to manage business processes. Develop and document detailed technical designs to meet business requirements
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Communicate with clients, vendors, project management, and the technical team.
* Identify areas of customization and optimization and provide solutions. Maintain an understanding of technology needs and solutions for the business unit.
* Provide an advisory role to clients on the impact of new technologies on their existing systems
