- Negotiate complex contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with critical suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Perform supplier performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Operations, Finance) to understand their needs and align sourcing strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, focusing on cost reduction, process efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor global supply chain trends and economic conditions to anticipate potential disruptions.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier risk management framework.
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing practices and company policies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies that deliver significant cost savings.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law and best practices in supplier management.
- Experience with e-procurement tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
