**Responsibilities**:
You will be part of a growing and dynamic team of advanced analytics professionals whose main goal is to help our marketing, finance, and business leadership partners achieve their business goals through advanced data analytics. Key responsibilities include:
Partner with the US Advanced Analytics Commercial team to identify, scope, and execute advanced analytics efforts that answer business questions, solve business needs, and add business value. Examples include estimating marketing channel effectiveness and customer targeting and segmentation.
Maintain a broad understanding of pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
Collaborate with other analytics team members to review and provide feedback on the analytics work being done and be willing to seek feedback from other team members about your own work.
Basic Qualifications:
Ph.D/Masters in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, or closely related field
3+ years of relevant work experience
Additional Information:
Deep and broad knowledge of statistical modeling and data mining methods and tools:Experience in Mixed Effects modeling with R (Lme4, nlme, GLMR, etc.)
Estimation of economic transformations of time varying covariates
Causal inference models (matched controls, Mahalanobis distance, calipers, propensity score methods, covariate balancing)
Experience with designing statistical experiments (DoE)
R package development for building internal capabilities and standardization of common modeling processes
Proficiency in SQL to process and integrate data from multiple different sources
Interpersonal communication skills for effective customer consultation

**Primary responsibilities include**:
- Responsible for a leadership role in implementing EVERSANA D&A business vision and objectives to support the strategic development of the business
- Ability to assess market needs in life science industry and prioritize business opportunities for EVERSANA data & analytics
- Ability to own and build a book of business from $1M to $2M, and maintain P&L ownership
- Lead multi-client engagement teams - structure and build team capabilities to deliver innovative and effective solutions with high levels of client delight
- Oversee delivery of projects and product plans to ensure successful completion, on-time and within budget
- Play a lead role in business development, building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities with existing and new clients

**Qualifications**:

- Oversee delivery of AI-enabled solutions across domains like:
- Dynamic segmentation & targeting
- Next-best-action engines
- Predictive HCP behavior models
- LLM-based insight generation (GenAI)
- Brand performance diagnostics
- Ensure robust quality, timeliness, and strategic relevance of deliverables.
Team & Capability Development (20%):
- Lead and grow a high-performing team of consultants, data scientists, and domain experts.
- Define and scale reusable AI/GenAI assets, frameworks, and accelerators.
- Partner with internal technology, data, and innovation teams to align on platform evolution.
Practice Growth & Innovation (10%):
- Contribute to RFPs, proposals, and solutioning for new business opportunities.
- Develop PoVs, whitepapers, and use cases to position the firm as a leader in commercial AI/GenAI.
- Continuously scan the market for new pharma AI applications, platforms, and data partnerships.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in commercial pharma analytics, including at least 3–5 years in a client-facing vendor/consulting role.
- Strong understanding of commercial pharma data: IQVIA (NRx/TRx), patient claims, CRM, HCP engagement, formulary/market access data.
- Experience delivering AI/ML/GenAI-driven solutions in real-world commercial use cases.
- Proven ability to engage with senior pharma stakeholders (Directors, VPs, GMs) and lead large programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GenAI tools: OpenAI APIs, Claude, LLM summarization tools, Insight copilots.
- Experience with tools like Python/R, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Databricks/Snowflake.
- Hands-on understanding of pharma GTM processes (launch excellence, sales ops, brand planning).
