Role:
- Supervise and coordinate production operations of masterbatch lines (twin-screw extruders, mixers, etc.)
- Ensure daily production as per the shift plan with optimal efficiency and minimal downtime
- Monitor raw material availability, usage, and coordinate with stores and QC
- Maintain quality control by ensuring process parameters are followed and samples are tested
- Troubleshoot process issues (e.g., dispersion, feed rate, pelletizing) and resolve minor machine breakdowns
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene (5S) in the production area
- Maintain shift production records, downtime logs, and report to production manager
- Conduct shift handovers with proper documentation and communication
- Ensure adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards
- Guide and train machine operators and helpers on process discipline and safety
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams for smooth plant operation
