Technical Job Specification – RPA Support & Migration Engineer (UiPath to Agentic AI)

Overview

We are seeking a specialist whose primary responsibility is to support and maintain our suite of UiPath RPA applications, while driving and executing the migration of these solutions to cutting-edge agentic AI automation platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UiPath-based RPA, a support-oriented mindset, and direct experience with agentic automation frameworks, including Python, LLMs, and Langchain.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing operational support for all UiPath-based RPA solutions, ensuring high availability, reliability, timely incident resolution, and regular maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in production RPA workflows, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust fixes and self-healing enhancements.
• Document and communicate best practices, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for RPA bots.
• Assess and prioritize existing RPA processes for migration suitability, working closely with business stakeholders and architects.
• Design, lead, and execute the migration of RPA workflows from UiPath to agentic automation leveraging Python, LLMs, and Langchain.
• Refactor, enhance, and rebuild automations to maximize cognitive, autonomous, and adaptive capabilities using agentic AI architectures.
• Integrate AI components —such as LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation—into automation workflows to expand their scope and intelligence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that migrations meet business, compliance, and technical standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years supporting and developing UiPath RPA applications (including Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework).
• Strong track record in production support , incident response, fix delivery, and process monitoring.
• Prior experience managing RPA migrations , ideally involving AI-driven or agent-based automation platforms.
• Proficiency in Python for script development, integrations, and automation enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude) and frameworks like Langchain for building, chaining, and orchestrating intelligent agents.
• Expertise in debugging, optimizing, and refactoring automation code for robustness and scalability.
• Strong communication skills for documentation and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

• UiPath professional certifications (e.g., Advanced RPA Developer, Automation Professional).
• Experience with UiPath AI Center, Autopilot, Document Understanding, and integrating external APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted automation (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and best practices in secure RPA operations.
• Exposure to vector databases, semantic search, or RAG agent architectures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
