What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a skilled Fluid Mechanics engineer to drive innovation and enhance our well performance across global assets. The role involves a combination of technical, analytical, and project management responsibilities to drive innovation and efficiency in upstream oil and gas operations and carbon capture and storage (CCS).

What you will do

•  Build computational models and simulations using proprietary and vendor tools to enhance design and operational practices and address evolving business needs.
• Design, build and execute parametric studies using simulation models to provide engineering design recommendations for business decisions. Conduct research and development on new technologies, methods, or best practices.
• Work with wells engineers, drilling and completion experts, computational and data scientists, and laboratory scientists across the globe to enhance understanding of subsurface technologies and tools.
•  Create tutorials, documentation, training material or case studies. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor other engineers to help build their technical competencies in fluid mechanics and multiphase modeling.

About You

Skills and Qualifications

• Masters with thesis or PhD degree from a recognized university in petroleum/chemical/mechanical/ civil engineering disciplines with minimum GPA 7.0.
• Up to 3 years of research (academic/industry) experience in flow modeling and simulation in solving business problems.
• Strong Fluid Mechanics and Computation Fluid Dynamics fundamentals and experience with Numerical Methods and Engineering Applications such as Ansys Fluent, STAR-CCM+, Open FOAM, Olga for solving Computational Fluid Dynamics or flow analysis problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization in any programming language (preferably Python or MATLAB) for analyzing experimental, simulation or sensor data.
• Experience in working with problems related to multiphase flow modeling is preferred.
• Experience in data science (e.g., machine learning, optimization) will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication and leadership skills are essential.

1) Co-ordination with the design and manufacturing teams to understand Design, Raw material requirements, inprocess quality, product test plans.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records including:

  • Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)

  • Method Statements

  • Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

• Support internal audits and third-party inspections.

• Report quality issues and follow through on corrective actions.

Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, vendors, and contractors to address quality concerns.

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

To practically implement technical solutions, including systems and applications, based on established technical and functional specifications.

This role ensures the effective on-site deployment and seamless integration of these solutions with both internal and external interacting systems.

The Implementation Engineer contributes to project milestones by delivering and validating solutions that meet the required functional and business outcomes.

Participates in sections of single or multiple projects ensuring the solution/s developed meet both the projects' functional requirements.

WHAT YOULL DO  

Implements the complete on-site lifecycle deployment of Self Bag Drop (SBD) systems.

Defines and ensures all installation prerequisites are met for SBD unit deployments, proactively addressing potential delays.

Executes the mechanical and electrical installation of SBD units, ensuring precise alignment according to approved specifications while striving for efficient and timely completion.

Manages the technical integration with BHS system low-level controls.

Directly engages in or supervises mechanical installations, electrical cabling, termination, and panel connections, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards and identifying opportunities for streamlining the installation process.

Leads system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities to guarantee performance, safety, and efficiency. Provides comprehensive training to relevant stakeholders on the operation and maintenance of the newly implemented SBD systems.

Maintains comprehensive technical documentation that supports the implemented SBD systems. Ensures strict adherence to safety and quality control measures at every stage of the implementation.

Raises all risks and issues that affect the project following set processes and ensures appropriate action is taken, paying particular attention to factors impacting the installation timeline.

Escalates risks and issues that pose a significant impact to deliverables, especially those related to schedule.

Supports the implementation of SBD systems in each specific airport location.

Frequent travel is required.

Critical Skills Required: Press Tool design, Ansys Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai Key Responsibilities: · Tool Design of press tools (stage and progressive tools) for electrical, automotive applications · Collaborate with R&D, NPI/LCM, customers for feasbility studies and part refinement · Develop tooling concepts, strips layouts, tool sequencing, operation sequencing · Perform tool design calculations and develop designs and drafting in 3D CAD · Apply CAE to validate tool element reliability · Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure tool designs are feasible and cost-effective Functional Competencies: · Proven experience as a Press Tool Designer - cutting and forming operations - stage and progressive tooling · Proficiency in CREO and CAE software for Press Tools · Knowledge of high-speed tooling and in die assembly will be added advantage · In-depth knowledge of presses, press part production processes and ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
