Job Summary:
Chargebee is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who will play an integral role in supporting our growth. In this role, you will help develop and execute effective marketing strategies—including competitive intelligence, go-to-market planning, and integrated campaign management—that drive product adoption and revenue. You'll partner closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure Chargebee remains the partner of choice for organizations looking to scale their subscription businesses.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities.
- Perform ongoing competitive analysis to inform product positioning and keep Chargebee ahead of industry shifts.
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Assist in planning and executing GTM strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, customer success) to ensure successful rollouts.
Campaign Management
- Manage and optimize marketing campaigns (digital, email, social, etc.) to promote Chargebee's offerings.
- Analyze campaign performance and adjust tactics to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.
Customer Segmentation & Insights
- Work with the broader marketing team to segment customers and personalize messaging and positioning.
- Gather feedback from customer-facing teams to identify new pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Sales Enablement & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with the sales team to provide competitive intelligence, product insights, and targeted collateral.
- Engage stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with Chargebee's overall business objectives.
Pricing & Product Lifecycle
- Support the development of pricing strategies based on market research and competitor analysis.
- Contribute to product lifecycle management, ensuring successful introductions and phase-outs.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Work with marketing operations to track and report on key metrics using platforms like Salesforce and Marketo.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement and pipeline generation, iterating on campaigns and strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in pricing subscriptions, growth, product management, product marketing, or related GTM roles within B2B.
- Proven track record in competitive analysis, go-to-market strategy and execution, and project management.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, messaging, and positioning.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce) for campaign analytics.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product launches and support sales enablement efforts.
- Self-starter with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and data-driven decision-making.

Demand Generation / Marketing Campaigns

Customer & Persona Management
- Segment customers and define buyer personas.
- Gather feedback from customers & prospects, work on messaging / product adjustments based on real usage, pain points, success stories.
Metrics & Performance Tracking
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing (e.g. adoption rates, conversion funnels, pipeline contribution etc.).
- Monitor, analyze, report performance, ROI of marketing initiatives; adjust tactics based on insights.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Design & Content.
- Facilitate product training for sales teams and partners to ensure they can sell the product effectively.
Brand & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to building Intellect's brand in the fintech / banking / insurance tech space.
