The scope of the responsibility includes NPD/VAVE Projects on MV Products and customer order handling activities for Medium voltage switchgear projects including drawings for customer approvals, fulfilment of Eaton process for order execution.

This position will scale up to develop digital solutions and promote new variants of MV products to customers.
Handling the enquiries and tenders from the utilities / private customers, referring the customer technical credentials, and making the proposals for the specification including technical offer (Offered BOM, GA, SLD, GTP) and cost estimation in coordination with pricing and sourcing team.
Support the sales team to resolve the customer technical queries and offer customized solutions to the requirements.
Sound knowledge in Auto CAD Electrical /EPLAN for preparing detailed drawings which inclusive of schematic design, general arrangement, single line diagram, bill of material etc.
Detailed drawing submission for the received orders and for tenders, responsibility of taking customer approval.
Preparation of long lead items for advance planning and release of Electrical BOM.
Giving input along with planned layout to Mechanical Engineers and coordinate with them for on time development and final BOM (Mechanical + Electrical) release.
Working with cross functional teams such as sourcing, data management, planning, procurement for smoother execution of order's as per the contractual delivery requirements.
Supporting to the development team (R&D) for electrical aspects whenever required.
Coordinate with vendors for development of FRTU/relay programming and successful internal testing for the pilot product, also handle the customer for critical FAT's.
Resolving production/quality/site issues in a passionate way to increase productivity.
Expert in Electrical power system design concepts such as MV switchgear selection, developing the schematic design as per customer requirements."

Job Description
Support Design & Development of products such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), micro data centers, and server racks, and create product BOM in SAP and release for manufacturing. Responsible for customized solutions, lias with sales and customers for design approval.To Be Quality concious during the design inception stage to ensure reliability and consistency in delivering results. Work on VAVE/ Feature addition as well as Quality improvement projects on the products, Localization support and validation is also included.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and develop mechanical systems and components for UPS, micro data centers, and server racks.
+ Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
+ Perform thermal and structural analysis to ensure product reliability and compliance.
+ Collaborate with electrical and systems engineering teams to integrate mechanical designs.
+ Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
+ Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
+ Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and cost targets are met.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, UL, RoHS).
+ Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

**Qualifications:**
+ Education - BE/ B.Tech
+ Experience - Min. 4-6 years experience on Creo and Solidworks platform in Sheet metal domain and AutoCAD for GA, SLD and layout design.

+ Expertise in Sheet metal designs, preferred in UPS products.
+ Demonstrating in 3D Modelling, 2D drafting & detailing standards using Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and proficient in PLM fundamentals.
+ Knowledge in Material Selection of Electro-mechanical products (Steel, Copper, Stainless Steel, Brass ,Epoxy, Thermoset).
+ Knowledge of product BOM preparation and structuring in SAP.
+ Follow standards IEC, ISO, ANSI, and ASME & ASTM for all relevant product designs.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Engineer to oversee daily operations in our FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in FRP processes such as hand lay-up, filament winding, RTM, or pultrusion, and a strong focus on production efficiency, quality, and team management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, optimizing resources, and driving operational efficiency within the manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all FRP production activities to meet daily/weekly targets.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.
- Monitor labor performance and allocate manpower effectively across shifts.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work with maintenance/engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift logs.
- Train and guide production staff on FRP processes and equipment handling.

- In-depth knowledge of FRP manufacturing techniques (e.g., hand lay-up, spray-up, RTM, filament winding, etc.).
- Familiar with lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other industrial best practices.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle shop floor operations independently.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or similar tools for production planning and management.
- Familiarity with composite materials and their properties, including resin systems, curing methods, and finishing processes.
- Experience with advanced production technologies such as automated fiberglass layup, molding, or 3D printing for composite parts.
This role requires someone who is not only technically skilled but also an effective manager with the ability to balance quality, productivity, safety, and cost management in a fast-paced environment.
