Key Responsibilities Production Planning and Management

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet sales forecasts and customer demand for trolleys and cultivators.
  • Assess project and resource requirements, including raw materials (steel, components), machinery, and human capital, to optimize workflow.
  • Monitor production processes, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to resolve bottlenecks and delays.

Quality Control and Assurance

  • Establish and enforce stringent quality control standards for all products, ensuring they meet industry specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement quality assurance programs and conduct regular inspections of products and processes to minimize defects and scrap rates.

Equipment and Maintenance

  • Oversee the routine maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, such as welding machines, cutting tools, and assembly lines, to ensure maximum uptime (Overall Equipment Effectiveness - OEE).
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for equipment upgrades and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Supervise, motivate, and manage production staff, including supervisors and operators.
  • Identify training needs and organize relevant sessions to enhance the team's skills in manufacturing techniques and safety protocols.
  • Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Cost Control and Efficiency

  • Manage the production budget, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce waste in the production of trolleys and cultivators.
