This highly motivated individual will be responsible for leading and driving NPI (New Product Introduction) and Localization projects for Fiber to Home and related Broadband Telecommunication product developments with close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

• This role will be accountable for right Cost derivation and service focusing on speed to develop/ localize in-region with clear Project tracking and monitoring results. The right candidate should have relevant experience in Procurement of Fiber Management Products which includes Fiber cable, Connectors, Molded Plastic Components, Polymers, UTP Cable etc. Exposure to SAP and project management is essential. Knowledge of related Pan India vendor base is required.
• Own and drive the sourcing and procurement process for new product introductions/localization including but not limited to:
• Vendor selections and qualifications with respect to category / risk defined.
• Part qualification in collaboration with Engineering, Operation, Supplier Quality and QA
• Development at right cost and service level to ensure project outputs are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally and globally) to understand product requirements and identify potential suppliers which satisfy said needs.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively across different organizational levels, functions, businesses on project status, constraints, and mitigations.
• Build costing templates and analyze gaps to negotiate against vendor part quotes / costs.
• Expertise in FTH Products and experience in contract manufacturing and make/buy decisions.
• Strong project tracking, and engagement with partners to overcome constraints to keep project status on track.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent area.
• Preferably 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Localization Project leadership
• Solid understanding of Fiber distribution to home products and vendor base in India
• This position requires considerable liaison with peers and managing Cross functional relationships.

**Main responsibilities:**
**Key Focus Areas:**
+ **Leadership & Strategy** : Will lead the site Manufacturing team and implement site strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency.
+ **Operations Management** : Oversee all manufacturing operations including Production and Packing. Deliver Production planning and production capacities assessment with appropriate tools for budget, long range planning purposes and according to business needs. Ensure timely delivery of products with adherence to quality, productivity, product technical complaints, plant cycle time, overall equipment efficiency, cost and service targets.
+ **Capital & Budget Management** : Manage site budget and operational expenditures. Lead infrastructure upgrades. Be proactive to reduce market complaints.
+ **Equipment Maintenance:** Ensure continuous improvement in the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) of the machines including qualification, validation, calibration of the manufacturing equipment machines and systems.
+ **Continuous Improvement Projects:** Champions and drives continuous improvements in the department. Also works closely with other departments and contributes to Company's priorities in environment, safety, quality and customer service level.
+ **Product Transfer and New Projects:** Lead, support new Product transfer, Sourcing cases and new Projects at Goa site in line with Site strategy.
+ **HSE:** Drive and implement HSE systems, safe working conditions and maintain a culture of continuous improvement in the department. Train people on safety and their job to ensure zero LTI and IWLT at workplace.
+ **People & Culture** : Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective leadership and talent development. Promote employee engagement, safety, and well-being. Ensure workforce planning and succession management.
**About you**
**Desired Experience and Qualification:**
+ Minimum 12- 15 years of Experience in Pharma including manufacturing and packing
+ Bachelors/ Masters of Pharmacy or Masters in Science
+ Production & Operation management expertise with good command of performance KPI and budget setting, monitoring and goal achievement, incl. Lean and Supply Chain principles
+ Thorough knowledge of EHS requirements as well as of cGMP and Quality regulations
+ Strong track record in managing and developing medium/ large scale teams
+ Good exposure to change management and handling unionised workforce
+ Good practice & understanding of new technologies & digital tools (including data analytical tools)
