About the Role
We are looking for a visionary Product Manager with expertise in Data Science and Business Intelligence (BI) to lead our future-oriented product strategy. This role goes beyond traditional reporting, focusing on crafting and executing a BI and data science roadmap that delivers market-differentiating analytics solutions to our B2B clients. Responsibilities
• Define and Drive Product Vision: Develop and own a strategic roadmap for data science and BI offerings. Collaborate closely with leadership to align the product vision with broader company goals.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, data science, and design teams to ensure product delivery meets customer needs. Oversee product execution from ideation to launch, ensuring timely releases and high-quality features.
• Data Science Strategy: Collaborate with data science teams on advanced analytics solutions (e.g., trend analysis, predictive models, user-defined events (UDEs)). Help the team develop data models and algorithms that provide forward-looking insights.
• BI Expertise: Guide the development of BI tools, including self-service and collaborative reporting, trend dashboards, and industry-standard metrics that cater to both high-level summaries and deep dives.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for continuous improvement and support product quality through automation, health checks, and monitoring.
• Drive tangible data-driven business outcomes at the product level, manage to a quantified scorecard continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and optimizing product performance
• Interpret and apply program vision and strategy to product strategy and roadmap for the Products they manage, clearly communicating it to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelors in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business); Master’s preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years as a Product Manager with a focus on BI and data science. Experience in B2B, fintech, or SaaS industries is highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in data science and BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and familiarity with SQL, Python, and data engineering workflows.
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and build upon statistical analyses, data modelling, and analytics.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Specialist, Product Management, for the Expense Management product within the Corporate Solutions business unit. In Mastercard Corporate Solutions we are focused on making payments smarter, and businesses stronger. Our offerings span across commercial card programs including virtual cards, products to support automation of account payables & receivables payment processes, solutions for supply chain financing, and many more emerging innovations.

Primary Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

- Support Product Roadmap Execution: Assist in the execution of the product roadmap by contributing to discovery, delivery, and prioritization activities. Help ensure alignment with strategic goals through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Conduct Product Analysis & Generate Insights: Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to uncover trends, user needs, and opportunities for improvement. Translate findings into actionable insights to support product decisions.

- Assist in Market & User Research: Help gather and synthesize market, user, and competitive data to inform product strategy. Stay informed about relevant industry trends and customer feedback.

- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of product goals and requirements.

- Document Product Requirements: Draft and maintain clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.

- Monitor Product Performance: Track product performance metrics and user feedback post-launch. Help identify areas for enhancement and support continuous improvement efforts.

- Facilitate Agile Processes: Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups. Support the product manager in ensuring smooth execution of agile ceremonies.

- Communicate Clearly: Share updates, findings, and documentation in a clear and concise manner to ensure alignment across stakeholders.



- Learn & Grow: Engage in continuous learning through available development resources to build product management skills and domain expertise.

The Cross Border Services Product Management organization leads the company in innovating cross border payment products and services using new technologies, channels and customer segments.
Cross Border Services is a team within Product and Engineering that focuses on cross border payment flows to consumers, including Cross Border Person-to-Person (P2P) payments, business and government Disbursements, and Remittances.

Within the Cross Border Product Management organization , the Vice President, Product Ownership
• Is responsible for developing and inspiring platform/product visions, derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends
• Translates business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements through epics and stories that drive the product development
• Works with product owners, technical program managers, developers and the product managers and other internal customers to define the details behind the business requirements
• Is accountable and supports the development team for all aspects related to the customer experience and the value proposition
• Collaborates with the product managers to define the product differentiators
Responsibilities:
• Lead a global team and define the methodology and processes to optimize the skills of and the quality of the execution by the team you manage
• Act as a India product management team lead
• Own the long-term vision (3-5 years) of the platform you are responsible for and provide thought leadership related to product ownership to the overall organization
• Lead the platform product strategy and work with other platform product teams to ensure strategies are aligned
• Manage the product roadmap in collaboration with the product management, product strategy and the engineering teams taking into account available development capacity and business priorities
• Manage the product backlog and continuously update the requirements priority list for the engineering teams
• Clearly identify the scope of feature with team members, architecture and development
• Review the epics (NFSs) and stories produced by your team using your own technical depth and business acumen to detects gaps, assess risks and continuously improve the quality of your team’s output and foster their development
• Define the test strategy and define the acceptance criteria for each story
• Ensure customer test cases are available and functional testing capability is available
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage product/feature release, implementation and commercialization
• Define and build your own scorecard to continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators and use this data to drive incremental improvements across the product lifecycle
• Build and cultivate strong relationships with product management, engineering and other internal customer to establish engagement models for your team and ensure delivery is in alignment with expectations
• Ensure communication and understanding of the roadmap priorities, delivery schedule and performance expectations and manage related escalations
• Plan and advocate for department resources

Experiences and skills:
• 20+ years of experience working in a software development environment
• Experience defining and deploying common functionality and shared services across different platforms
• Requirement analysis and definition, documentation, roadmap management and acceptance criteria definition for cross-border payment services
• An organized thinker that has a high level of self-motivation and initiative
• Proven ability to lead and drive complex product deployments involving many stakeholders, internally and externally
• Able to hold your own in debates with technical architects and engineers
• Strong payments industry, leadership, communication and technical/product solution skills
• Experience in supervising or leading a product owner/business analyst team
• Experience with agile scrum methodologies
• Management and planning of requirements and features for optimal team efficiency

The Senior Product Manager – Technical role is an important member of our software development teams here at Mastercard. The PM-T works closely in partnership with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and development leads to elaborate technical requirements that meet product business requirements and align with Mastercard technology standards. The PM-T will need to develop strong working knowledge of all relevant Mastercard applications and systems to be effective.

Technical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensure that business and functional requirements can be met. The PM-T is a liaison and key communication bridge between the development and business teams.
Clear communication of technical requirements to the development team and development concerns to business stakeholders. The PM-T speaks the language of software development and product management.
Prioritize and identify cross application/system enhancements.
Identify key dependencies and knock-on impacts of new development work.
Lead the development of conceptual/architectural designs and user interface mock-ups.

Act as a technical consultant for Business Owners during implementation of new products/services.

5 years' experience in similar role
Experience in product, program, or service management with technology.
Experience with organizing and coordinating customer activities with product development roadmaps.
Experience with defining and organizing customer objectives, goals, strategies and metrics.
Experience with facilitating technical and non-technical virtual workshops, trainings and/or problem-solving meetings.
Experience with converting customer use cases into actionable and testable backlog and owning prioritization.
Understands the technologies, architecture design and features that support customer jobs to be done and are able to contribute to technical discussions, decisions and strategy related to a product.
Experience completing end-to-end delivery of software changes or customer onboarding experience that focuses on learning outcomes and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Strong technical knowledge and capability.
Experience with CI/CD, Cloud infrastructure, enterprise architectural patterns or microservices architecture.
High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function independently with competing demands.
High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
