Role Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Calculate monthly salary for employees, including basic pay, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- Ensure accurate salary calculations incorporating PF, ESI, professional tax, TDS, and other statutory deductions.
- Manage monthly payroll processing ensuring timely salary disbursal.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Handle PF and ESI registration, contribution, and compliance.
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly PF and ESI returns as per government norms.
- Coordinate with PF/ESI departments for audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with other statutory requirements such as Labor Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus Act, etc.
- Employee Data Management:
- Maintain and update employee records related to attendance, leave, salary, and statutory contributions.
- Reconcile payroll and PF/ESI accounts regularly.
- Respond to employee queries regarding salary, PF, ESI, and other benefits.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on payroll and statutory compliance.
- Ensure documentation for audits and maintain records for labor law compliance.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors like auditors, banks, and government authorities.
- Keep abreast of changes in labor laws and payroll regulations and implement them accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant HR experience with a focus on payroll, PF, ESI, and salary management.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, PF & ESI rules,
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software tools.
- Attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
