The Role:
SELCO Foundation is looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about working in the development sector with the focus on providing access to sustainable energy for livelihoods for
last-mile communities in Assam. The broader goal is to use decentralized renewable energy to facilitate dignified living, increased incomes, reduced drudgery and improved work productivity through the integration of climate-inclusive technologies into livelihood practices for the underserved communities in Assam.
As the Project Coordinator for the Assam team, you should have good skills on community mobilization, rapport building, coordinating between multiple crucial stakeholders; and is able to adapt to diverse situations and organizational requirements.
Key responsibilities for the position:
· Identification, engagement, building rapport, and coordinating with key stakeholders such as local communities, government departments, enterprises, financial institutes, grassroots organizations, farmer producer organizations, cooperatives working in the district for effective implementation of SELCO's work in the district.
· Co-create and design climate smart livelihood project in collaboration with partner organizations.
· Provide necessary support to end users and partner organisations in implementation of climate smart livelihood initiative.
· Preparing and managing budgets and cash flows and unlocking finances for renewable energy- based interventions through banks, MFIs, Central and State government schemes in Assam.
· Regularly organizing and facilitating training/ awareness workshops for the stakeholders/end users to develop their awareness on DRE-based livelihood solutions.
Who can apply:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in the development sector with focus on rural livelihoods is preferable.

Familiar in local languages of Assam is preferred.
