Role - Lead ME Engineer
Location - Gwalior
Purpose/Objective:
Responsible for process planning of new components, including cycle time estimation, CNC programming, and machine prove-out. Ensure quality standards and customer approval for first parts. Drive continuous process improvement and maintain documentation aligned with quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and define manufacturing processes for new components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies.
- Create CNC programs and conduct first-time-right prove-outs on CNC machines.
- Select and validate cutting tools for machining operations.
- Design and oversee manufacturing of jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Obtain first part approval from customers.
- Maintain process documentation in compliance with quality standards.
- Implement process improvements and reduce cycle times.
- Prepare and present monthly performance and progress reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).
- 10–14 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Proven leadership capabilities and team management experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
