Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage construction site activities. The role involves supervising day-to-day operations, coordinating with teams, ensuring quality, safety compliance, and timely execution of work as per project requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and study drawings, specifications, and project documents before execution.
- Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
- Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure proper execution of work.
- Manage labor, foremen, and subcontractors effectively.
- Ensure quality control of materials and workmanship.
- Carry out site layout and setting out using levels, total stations, etc.
- Coordinate with consultants to resolve technical issues.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure PPE compliance at all times.
- Maintain daily progress reports, logs, and site records.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers.
- Keep records of material usage, inspections, and approvals.
- Take accurate site measurements for billing and verification purposes.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular project status updates.
- Prepare and close punch/snag lists during project completion.
- Assist in preparing handover documents and as-built drawings.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments (levels, total stations, etc.).
- Ability to manage teams and subcontractors efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and site management practices.
