**Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:**
Creating, developing, and owning the customer relationship for a key branch location, you will be a crucial link between the Branch and Head Office Supply Chain. You will influence service levels to customers in a cost-effective manner while helping to drive new initiatives and projects that boost performance. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that warehouses and transporters adhere to Colgate's laid down practices and to lead the implementation of new concepts. You will provide key analysis and reporting, highlighting exceptions and areas of concern to deliver on performance goals.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Help achieve key performance indicators for customer service, such as case fill and on-time delivery percentages.
+ Manage stock by monitoring inventory levels, slow-moving or non-moving items, and stock aging.
+ Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), financial processes, and statutory regulations like GST, PFA, and FDA within warehouses.
+ Oversee secondary transportation, including route planning, and work to reduce transit times and freight costs.
+ Lead new initiatives, such as the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for the branch, and adopt new practices to improve supply chain performance.
+ Develop collaborative partnerships with both internal colleagues and external suppliers, warehouses, and transporters
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Sound understanding of supply chain processes
+ Experience in managing logistics, warehousing, and secondary transportation.
+ Proven ability to drive new initiatives and projects.
+ Experience in a role that requires good communication skills
+ Data-driven decision-making
+ Strong collaboration and partnership skills, both internally and externally
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry preferred

To manage commercial operations of Diageo brands across CSD Depots catering to the Defence and Para Military Forces in the Kolkata and Odisha sales area. **Role Responsibilities:**
Sales Delivery
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual primary & secondary sales targets.

Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing, and CSD Depots to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
- Minimize stock-outs and mitigate any business loss risks.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Manage excise-related processes including Label Registrations, Permits, EVCs, and C-Forms in a timely and compliant manner.
Market Development
- Conduct structured market assessments and competitor benchmarking to identify white spaces and future growth opportunities.
Trade & Consumer Activation
- Execute brand-led promotional activities across outlets and ensure proper deployment of trade schemes.
- Monitor effectiveness and visibility of promotional programs.
Collections Management
- Ensure timely payment collections from CSD and Para Military channels.
- Monitor receivables and address reconciliation issues.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitive activity, pricing, and market dynamics.
- Share weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a third-party field sales team.
- Drive accountability through daily reporting and performance reviews.
**Experience / skills required:**
Education: MBA in Sales & Marketing
Experience: 6-8 years of progressive experience in Sales, preferably in the Alco Bev or FMCG industry
