Job Description
**A Day in the Life**
This position will enable growth of MEIC by taking accountability for the statutory financials, while ensuring a robust internal control mechanism and compliance to applicable statutory requirements.
End to End ownership of controllership responsibilities, that will include:
o India GAAP accounting
o Reporting
o External & Internal Audits
o Statutory and Tax compliances.
o SEZ Compliances
o Treasury
o Internal Controls
o Reporting key controllership related metrics
-Identify process improvements and simplification opportunities. Drive the execution of those projects and work with others to ensure completion.
-Accountability of technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
-Responsible to manage external relationships with:
oBankers
oStatutory Auditors
oTax Consultants
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**
+ The role requires expertise in managing through impact and influence; requires comfort in operating in a matrix organization with several stakeholders.The role is of a people manager, with the demonstrated ability of completing critical deliverables independently, if the need arises.Close collaboration with HR, legal, tax and trade, real estate and facilities, procurement, finance shared services and other functions
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ CA with 10-12 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to international operations and R&D preferably
+ Strong Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing & SEZ experience, specifically in GCC/GBS space.
+ Business Partnership experience
+ Strong, professional communication and writing skills
+ Excellent knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
+ It is preferable that the person has experience in multinational financial operations with good understanding of IGAAP, US GAAP.
+ Experience working in MNC environment with multiple stakeholders and matrix structure
+ Experience on an ERP system such as SAP / Oracle etc. including General Ledger, automated entries, and reporting
+ Work experience in Health care / Medical Devices
+ Budgeting and forecasting of business P&L
+ Be a strong Individual contributor

**A Day in the Life**
As Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in supporting our global legal team with procurement contracting activities. A typical day will include interacting with our procurement teams, reviewing complex agreements, providing legal guidance and advice that aligns with company standards, and identifying legal and commercial risks. In addition, you will manage multiple contract requests and manage prioritizing deadlines. You will also be responsible for staying current on company policies and understanding the corporate legal strategies.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced international legal team, gain exposure to complex commercial transactions, and contribute to strengthening the company's supplier relationships through effective contracting.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**
+ Provide legal support for a wide range of contracts related to procurement, supply chain, SaaS, and healthcare services.
+ Review, draft, and negotiate agreements with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.
+ Support HCP contracting processes, ensuring alignment with healthcare compliance standards and transparency requirements.
+ Identify and assess areas of contractual risk and propose practical solutions.
+ Collaborate with U.S. and regional attorneys on day-to-day legal matters and strategic initiatives.
+ Leverage legal technology tools to streamline contract workflows and promote best practices.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation in contract management systems.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized institution; LL.M. preferred.
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a multinational or healthcare-related organization.
+ Strong understanding of commercial contracts, procurement law, and healthcare compliance.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience working with international legal teams is a plus.
+ Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across legal, procurement, and business team

This position as Platform Engineer focuses on continuing to innovate, extend, and deploy our internally developed platforms based on opensource standards used for deploying and managing Gitlab and JFrog Artifactory services; these services are currently hosted in both our internal datacenters and in their respective vendor SaaS platforms. Your assignment is to meet the technology and streamlined platform needs for our Medtronic's business units source code management or binary release management. Our platform is built and managed using programmatic pipelines developed and managed using a variety of software code and scripting languages, including but limited to, Terraform, Golang, CloudFormation, Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, Lambda, some Python, and Java scripting
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Work closely with our existing Shared Services Engineering Team during our upcoming GitLab and JFrog platform redesign to ensure we have every element of the provisioning and management of our platform using programmatic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for end-to-end automation
+ Lead the design and development of our self-service Internal Development Platform (IDP) built on Port to provide our clients real-time and always available self-service capabilities to run and manage their own development teams
+ Participate in efforts to design, build, and develop rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions and services that quickly get added to our production service. The rapid POC method has proven effective in enhancing our product in a rapidly evolving market.
+ Work closely with our global security and identity access team to constantly keep our interfaces, access, identity, tokens, secrets, and all other security access and design specifications up-to-date and secure
+ Work with our Site Reliability Engineering Team (SRE) and to develop full observability, monitoring, and programmatic self-healing for the platform
+ Be engaged, skilled, and eager to work closely with stakeholders and clients and create positive interactions and relationships to continue to drive the value of the platform higher for their business needs
+ Be an integral member of technical staff and help develop, test, deploy, and operate our services 24x7x365 globally
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and min 3+ years of experience
Nice to Have
+ A degree in computer science, EE, physics, mathematics, or related field
+ Experience writing IaC using **Terraform** , preferably, or OpenTofu, **GitLab CI/CD** or Jenkins
+ Strong experience with Containerization and Container Orchestration using **Docker** and **Kubernetes both On- prem and Cloud environment** .

+ Have a track record of being willing and able to learn new technologies at a rapid pace

+ CI/CD pipelines creation using yaml would be a plus.
+ Any working experience in monitoring tools like Grafana/Dynatrace dashboards would be a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity-Specialist to drive special projects and programmatic initiatives aimed at enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture. + Audit & Reporting: Oversee and manage internal and external cybersecurity compliance. Provide regular compliance reports to senior leadership, outlining the organization's compliance status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
+ Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key compliance performance indicators (KPIs) for program success. Provide regular updates and reports on cybersecurity project performance, outcomes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
+ Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in GRC frameworks and processes, including system selection, system administration, and supporting core GRC functions. Act as technical system administrator for GRC specific technology.
+ Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination: Work in tandem with IT, security operations, compliance, legal, and other GCISO and Medtronic departments to ensure seamless compliant execution of projects, adherence to industry standards, and alignment with organizational priorities.
+ Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, trends, and technologies to proactively incorporate new best practices and solutions into the organization's cybersecurity strategy. Provide guidance on how new regulations or industry standards impact the organization's compliance posture.

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
SENIOR LEVEL:
+ Requires a Baccalaureate degree Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field. (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
+ Education: Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP, ISO27001 Auditor) preferred.
Experience:

+ Must be able to support the global team in organic, blended, inorganic product development projects.
+ Support the technology road map of Medical Devices by proactively pitching for technology development and turnkey projects.
+ Support Regional Growth plans and product requirements to boost tailored product for the regions
+ Establish and remain educated on the relevant technology standards (DICOM, HL7, 62304, ISO 11073 etc.)
+ Develop junior members by coaching, empowering, reviewing results, both in technical areas and in "soft" skills.
+ Identify solution knowledge gaps within MEIC in Medical Devices solutions and prepare plans to address them ( strategic alliances and self-managed teams )
**Required Knowledge and Experience**
+ Experience of minimum of 17+ years in product development with at least a min of 10+ years in medical device development & verification.
+ Good hands on experience in systems engineering, software development C#/C++ and real time systems. Knowledge of Python programming/scripts
+ Knowledgeable in design controls for medical devices (related to CFR 820.30) 510K, IEC 62304 & other relevant standards.
+ Product development experience for local markets ("in country for country) would certainly be a plus.
+ Strong proven capability & track record in developing product applications and strong knowledge in device communication & diagnostics, database systems and latest communication protocols.
+ Hands-on application development (right from requirement analysis to deployment) and management of sizeable teams in FW, HW, & SW application development & verification activities.
+ Strong Leadership expectations traits for mid-level leaders (internal candidates only)

**A Day in the Life**
Senior Software Engineer for the R&D Engineering function of Medtronic Engineering and Innovation Center R&D facility. The individual will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, team environment. The Senior Software Engineer frequently interacts with Tech Lead, other developers, V&V engineers, internal partners and stakeholders concerning estimations, design, implementation or requirement clarifications, works closely with global sites.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned**
+ Design, Develop and test Software high integrity software for medical devices.
+ Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices, ex. IEC62304.
+ Define and implement software requirements and designs and review software developed by other team members.
+ Contributes and applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex technical problems.
+ Participate in process improvement initiatives for the software team. This includes recognizing areas for improvement as well as working with others to develop and document process improvements.
+ Demonstrate ownership of software feature/module and drive development of the feature/module through SDLC.
+ Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers.
+ Lead the team on Software Dev planning activities for the features owned, perform reviews, ensure implementation and delivery
+ Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will increase team velocity.
+ Maintain, improve and design new software tools.
+ Work under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
+ 11-13 years of relevant work experience in Software development
+ 5+ years experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services
+ 4+ years of experience using Agile methodology
+ 3+ years of leading Dev team members on planning, sw design, implementation ensuring delivery
+ Highly Knowledgeable in Test Driven Development methodologies.
+ Experience in Design patterns such as MVP, MVVM, Clean architecture
+ Experience in working with Azure DevOps, GIT and CI environments.
+ Experience building secure software
+ Experience in mobile software development, ex. iOS, Android
+ Experience in web based technologies, ex. C#.Net,Xamarin Forms ,HTML5, JavaScript, CSS or Cordova
+ Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio development platforms/Azure DevOps/tools
+ Effectively communicate and operate within a cross-functional work environment. (Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Firmware Development, Software Development, Test Development, Manufacturing)
**Required Knowledge and Experience**
+ Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium institute.
+ Strong knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices
+ Hands on experience in developing implantable System Software components related to data acquisition, Real Time Data processing and data presentation.
+ Proficiency in two or more of the following technologies: C, C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, VBScript, C#, .NET, Perl, Python, Objective C, Angular, Xamarin
+ Experience in one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, Linux, Android and IOS
+ Experience in developing simulators for simulating implantable device behavior through design patterns and architecture patterns.
+ Hands on experience in Blue Tooth enabled device communication.
+ Hands on experience in Mobile Operating System apps development targeted at Class III Medical Systems.

**A Day in the Life**
In this role as Software Development Engineer in Test (SDE/T) II, you, along with other open SDE/T positions on our team, will work with your manager to best utilize skills, career growth, and interest among all team members and your manager will allocate resources and time among four (4) key internal software services: DevSecOps frameworks and automated pipelines, Kubernetes pipelines and services, source code management systems, and full-stack monitoring services. You will be responsible for testing a diverse set of frameworks, applications, and services. You will use your skills to build and develop our end-to-end automated test harness that tests, deploys, and runs these internally developed systems and frameworks. We have some rudimentary testing frameworks built using opensource products and AWS services, but you will be a part of changing and significantly re-designing the product enhancements to function at the scale are quality we need.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Be a contributing team member helping create a new test-driven culture and team identity
+ Design and develop test protocols for assigned features
+ Develop, run, and maintain suite(s) of automation tests
+ Maintain and grow knowledge of platform configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting.
+ Work under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
+ Continuously keep updated with latest technology trends and channel that learning to Medtronic Product development.
+ Help design and develop our end-to-end testing services and improve the testing frameworks around unit, CI, load, soak, reliability, and performance testing capabilities against the full CI/CD, Kubernetes, and migration pipelines
+ Build test automation for the platform using a test framework to ensure all pipelines and code are stable, scalable, and can be rapidly regressed
+ Contribute to designing and building capabilities, frameworks, and other infrastructure needed to support high quality products
+ Participate in technical design sessions and writing appropriate technical test design documents as needed and sufficient for an agile development process
+ Test end-to-end CI/CD use cases, understanding our diverse user community configurations, regulatory and change control processes, and security environments
+ Work with other test engineers at Medtronic and help lead and evolve the best testing practices across our scientific and client teams
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of relative experience
Nice to Have
+ A degree in computer science or related field
+ Proven experience testing in an agile, TDD driven development environment using automated unit, acceptance, CI, and system testing shipping commercial software through at least one development lifecycle
+ Proficient using two or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C, C++, Swift/Objective C, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript
+ Experience doing full stack testing including infrastructure cloud services (Storage, VMs, Network, etc.) as well as application and user experience in a continuous CI/CD pipeline environment
+ Experience crafting, building, and running automated test frameworks in cloud environments such as AWS and GCP
+ Experience using industry standard test tools, frameworks, and environments
+ Experience working in a medical regulated environment considered a plus
+ Good to have proficiency in Infrastructure domain and testing of the CI/CD pipelines.
+ Good to have experience in YAML.
+ Any experience or familiarity with FDA quality and validation processes is a plus.
