# Project Overview:
Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices.
# Job Summary:
The Cranes & Rigging Superintendent is responsible for supervising and directing operations within the cranes & rigging discipline. Supervises and directs cranes & rigging craft, subordinate supervisors, and others, as assigned. Ensures assigned construction performance is following specifications and within schedules and budgets.
# Job Dimensions

# Major Responsibilities:
+ Provide ES&H leadership. This includes preparation and implementation of safety procedures and leading Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings Ensure that all crane and rigging operations comply with applicable procedures, standards, and local regulations, customer and project-specific requirements Engages in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and FLHA for rigging activities
+ Oversee that the contractors maintain all site cranes per processes and procedure requirements in regard to safe usage, site relocation, assembly/disassembly of cranes, safe rig up and safe raising-lowering of long boom cranes, proper set up, proper usage and site ground bearing conditions regarding build out of earth and timber crane pads.
+ Oversee that the site COE's (crane operator examiners) and crane operator qualification program including crane operator certifications, state licenses and medical certificates verifications are in place and followed by contractors.
+ Ensures that assigned personnel are properly qualified for their task (e.g., signaling cranes); that they are trained, competent and aware of their responsibilities, and are complying with all applicable standards, requirements, and safe practices. Inspect site for unsafe conditions and practices and take appropriate corrective action to correct breaches.
+ Coordinate safety training and enforce safe work practices at all times in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor. Champion the cause of ZERO Accident Philosophy.
+ Ensure that Bechtel and local/national safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with within assigned area of responsibility. Review and approve subcontractor equipment/personnel mobilization and demobilization if required.
+ Perform employee reviews and identify training and development opportunities for subordinate rigging personnel and craft professionals

# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ University/B. S degree in Engineering or Construction Management plus 8 years of experience or 12 years of equivalent industry experience in-lieu of a degree.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generating station construction is preferred.
+ Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications. Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
+ Excellent communication and problem-solving ability. Ability to read and interpret crane manufactures operator's manual and load charts
+ Experienced in safe use and inspection of rigging hardware Monitor and track utilization of all site cranes Certified rigger/signal person.

# Additional Information:
Work includes field inspections and the physical ability to conduct field inspections which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.)

Assigned to a field construction organization in a supervisory/managerial position. Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility. Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to required safety and quality standards.

+ Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities of construction contractors (multiple disciplines), suppliers, clients and their representatives and others as may be assigned within the area of responsibility.

Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. This position will start as an assignment in Mumbai, India (office) prior to the receipt of the full notice to proceed from the Owner and will eventually transition to the job site for the EPC execution of the project.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will support contractor's superintendents and/or craft professionals in the assigned area of the project. You will support craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure contractor's craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.

# Education and Experience Requirements:

# Job Summary:
Responsible for the organization and activities relating to construction engineering, subcontracts, and engineering liaison to the design functional group. Interprets design drawings and specifications. Supervises field verification of materials. Provides technical direction to contractors in construction engineering and design functions relating to welding field engineering in an area of the project.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Aid the development of the construction engineering organization for approval by the Site Manager (or appropriate level of Project Management) and preparation of employee requisitions.
+ Coordinates with engineering on constructability and design issues and monitors the interfacing between the construction automation plan and the project controls program at the jobsite.
+ Establishes a Design/Field Engineering working relationship and lines of communication with the Project Field Engineer/Area Field Engineer including agreement on engineering deliverables.
+ Responsible for quantity take-off, control, reporting and forecasting, and ensures the implementation of project environmental control plan(s) as required.
+ Aid as required the design of temporary construction facilities, preparation of cost estimates for construction activities and coordinates the preparation of cost reports, forecast and progress reports.
+ Reviews and provides input to project controls documents on progress relating to cost and schedule, and material receiving reports and warehousing to assure delivery of correct materials.
+ Develops project construction procedures.

# Education and Experience Requirements:

# Job Summary:
Assigned to a field construction organization in a supervisory or managerial position. Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project. May be the primary client contact for all jobsite activities or may coordinate with client's resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to required safety and quality standards.
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities of EPCM contractors, construction contractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives and others as may be assigned within the area of responsibility.
+ Responsible for the field workforce organization to ensure the jobsite organization is comprised of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures effective personnel utilization.

In this role, you will be responsible for startup planning and executing activities on OSBL facilities. You will coordinate with project management, engineering, construction, and clients to leverage diverse technical team skills to integrate and develop the Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning schedules to drive plant facility assets to RFSU. You will identify risks and trends, manage progress reporting, and proactively course correct to ensure goals, schedules, and requirements are met.

+ Encourage construction team for early development of mechanical cleaning program for system utility flushing and major steam blow program including preservation program.

+ Monitor and control all contractual commitments to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and terms of the contract, that a trend program is in place, and that change orders and claims are processed in a timely manner.
