Key Responsibilities:-

• Due-diligence/Core Analysis of various risks of the organization viz –a- viz to premium pay out for adequate coverage of appropriate risks.
• Evaluating risks of the organization from time to time and exploring new market products available in the market which can be beneficial for the organisation.
• Maintaining full data base of all insurance policies such as fire, Marine, GPA, Cash, Mediclaim etc and to take desired actions on its expiry for renewal.
• Critical analysis of Insurance claims filed considering its repercussions on the basis of Insurance norms/ IRDA Guidelines, their follow up actions with Insurance companies for expeditious settlement of claims.
• Timely recommendations to the Management for taking appropriate insurance covers.
• Overall Management of all insurance matters of the organization to attain efficiency, cost competitiveness and adequate risk coverage.

Skills Required:

Chitkara University is looking for a Deputy Registrar for Centre for distance & online education , with strong credentials and proven leadership ability.

The AR/DR shall take the responsibility of developing a system for conscious and consistent improvement in the overall performance of the University. He will be responsible for the development, application, and monitoring of quality benchmarks for various academic and administrative activities of the University and will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the University database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing quality.

He needs to be well-versed with all documentation and practices related to NAAC work, including conducting internal academic and administrative audits, organizing workshops/seminars on quality-related themes, and preparation of the University IQAR as per the guidelines and parameters of NAAC, CIQA.

The suitable candidate must have knowledge of the processes and guidelines of other accreditation agencies as well, like QS, NIRF, THE, etc.

The candidate must have experience in handling responsibilities within the online department , including digital education platforms, virtual audit processes, and quality assurance of online academic delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Formulate benchmarks for quality standards in academic, research, and outreach activities within the university.
