Job Description
Responsible for the entire Unmanned Aircraft System, including the modifying and configuring of aircraft and ground control stations to meet customer specified programs. Duties also include executing ground tests and supporting flight test activities. This includes flightline activities such as pre-flight, launch and recovery, and postflight data collection.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, maintain aircraft, engine and ground support equipment in support of test operations and sustainment activities in accordance with maintenance documentation.
+ Perform work on airframe and powerplant in support of operations and sustainment activities.
+ Develop and review new processes and procedures.
+ Assist in training efforts for various customers.
+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
+ Inspect powerplant and related components at regular intervals adhering to company approved procedures, maintenance manuals, and/or government technical order requirements.
+ Review records to ensure all required documentation is completed in accordance with established company procedures for government and customer technical order requirements.
+ Perform all launch and recovery tasks of aircraft to include ground operations, pre and postflight items, ground observer responsibilities, and inspect, test, maintain and operate ground support equipment.
+ Maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
+ Support compliance with GA Global Japan K.K. and program related standard operating procedures and related trade controls compliance processes.
+ Other duties as assigned or required.

JOB PURPOSE & SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct, coordinate and supervise all stations GSE departments and ensure maximum efficiency in the services provided by AISATS.
- Ensures that AISATS GSE maintenance practices are in line with the AISATS standards, Customer airlines procedures and the applicable civil aviation regulations.
- Maintain Safety and security standards in all aspects.
- Carry out various responsibilities (e.g. legal, financial responsibilities) apart from the GSE maintenance responsibilities in day-to-day station management.
- Ensure to maintain the effective liaison with the external entities such as state aviation authorities (customs, airport police, civil aviation etc.) and the customer airlines.
- Ensure implementation of all (applicable) Corporate Policies in day-to-day operations.
- Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of GSE department at all stations.
Other Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and efficient AISATS GSE departments at all station on a day-to-day basis.
- Train and motivate staff to ensure that the best interests of AISATS are maintained at the Airport through the monitoring of the service given to customer airlines
- Ensure that the customer airline policy for handling delayed flight is implemented and formulates additional instructions to cover any special requirements or conditions which occur when flights are delayed.
- Ensure all irregularities are investigated and subsequent action is taken in compliance with laid down procedures.
- Set up and maintain a system of logging, recording and reporting for all matters connected with GSE.
- Maintain and safeguard AISATS’s commercial interests at the Airport and makes recommendations whenever necessary to Business Unit Heads regarding commercial decisions effecting aircraft and passenger delays, etc., ensuring that such decisions do not conflict with over-riding operational requirements.
- Conduct yearly performance appraisal for the GSE team and set KPI for the next year.
- Effectively manage resources and ensure task delegated according to staff capabilities at all time.
- Establish effective communication with airport operators shall situation requires to achieve smooth and quality ramp handling at all areas.
- Represent the company at Airline Operations Committee Meetings and participates actively in the local Facilitation Committee, and forwards copies of minutes of all such meetings to Business Unit Heads.
- Liaise with Business Unit Heads and other stations on all relevant matters.
- Ensure that all maintenance staff are provided with uniforms, PPE and that these are worn at all times when on duty and ensures that uniforms are properly worn, are clean and are not abused.
- Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of operations.
- You will be responsible and accountable to make necessary operational decisions related to safety and security matters at all times whilst on duty.
Maintenance Department:
- Monitor the work of maintenance and stores
- To maintain high standard of serviceability of equipment
- Ensure Store is functioning as per procedures.
- To ensure high standard of safety.
- Ensure purchase is carried out as per company’s policy
General :
Ensure the administration is functioning properly with all documents in place as per the HR requirement.
- To certify all the bills pertaining Stores and Maintenance after ascertaining the corresponding jobs have been carried out as per the procedures.
- To work out the requirement of manpower and to plan for recruitment.
