We, at Flywire, are seeking an Agile-savvy Project Manager with a strong Business Analysis background to serve as the bridge between our product, engineering, and customer-facing teams. You will own delivery of critical projects to our data and analytics solutions—eliciting requirements, breaking down complex features, and guiding cross-functional squads to on-time, high-quality releases. What You’ll Do
Drive Agile Delivery
- Document our delivery process and ensure the data and analytics teams are trained and onboarded to the new process
- Define required attributes that we need to track in JIRA and ensure its well documented
- Serve as Agile Coach and Scrum Master for cross-functional teams (data engineers, analytics engineers, business intelligence developers, etc.).
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Refinement, Demos, Retrospectives).
Prioritization & Planning
- Review incoming tickets and partner with our data engineering and business intelligence leads to manage our backlog, prioritize tickets, estimate work breakdown, level resources, and establish milestone plans.
- Ensure tickets are properly categorized (e.g. Incidents vs. New Work) and triage tickets appropriately based on type, criticality, and scope.
- Partner with our BI and Data Engineering teams to gather and document business & technical requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows). Ensure all details are properly captured and documented in JIRA.
- Decompose features into Epics, Stories, and Tasks; maintain and groom the product backlog.
Technical Liaison
- Translate business goals into business and technical features for technical teams
- Ensure traceability from requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment
Stakeholder Management
- Own communication with leadership, external partners, and internal stakeholders—providing status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and change management.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with QA to define test plans, acceptance tests, and support UAT.
- Define and analyze sprint metrics (velocity, cycle time, defect trends); drive process improvements to boost predictability and quality.
- Create reports and insights on our ability to execute and deliver, highlighting where improvements can be made
Qualifications
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years combining Agile project management and business-analysis experience in a SaaS or payments context
- Proven track record as a Scrum Master or Agile PM, ideally with dual BA responsibilities.
- Strong technical fluency—comfortable reading API specs, data schemas, and system diagrams.
- Excellent at writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and status reports.
- Exceptional communicator—adept at aligning data / analytics, and business teams.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or equivalent. Agile certification is strongly preferred.

The role
The Agile Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of IT projects using an iterative, hybrid Agile approach suited to a maturing Agile environment. This role bridges traditional project delivery and Agile delivery to ensure business value is delivered incrementally. The role will contribute towards the delivery of projects within the Service Futures forward work program, within scope, time and budget, including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, new development, and enhancements to existing systems.

Your key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver various sized and fast paced IT projects iteratively, ensuring value is delivered early and often.
- Facilitate sprint planning and daily stand-ups to ensure team alignment, clarity of goals, and continuous progress toward sprint outcomes.
- Maintain a well-groomed, actionable backlog and oversee sprint execution by coordinating upcoming releases, tracking tasks, and resolving blockers.
- Engage regularly with business stakeholders to confirm scope, validate delivery progress, and manage expectations.
