About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Development Engineer to join our AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing optimized Python code for AI applications, translating machine learning models into production-ready systems, and ensuring all code meets our organization's high standards for quality and performance. You will work closely with data scientists, MLOps engineers, and platform teams to build robust AI solutions that address complex business challenges. As a senior member of the team with 10+ years of experience, you will also provide technical leadership, establish coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, production-grade Python code for AI applications that adheres to organizational standards

• Optimize machine learning algorithms and models for efficiency, scalability, and reliability in production environments

• Collaborate with data scientists to translate prototype models into robust, maintainable, and scalable code

• Develop reusable code libraries, frameworks, and tools to accelerate AI development across the organization

• Implement automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices for AI systems

• Work closely with MLOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment and integration of AI systems into production environments

• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns for AI development

• Experience with optimization techniques for machine learning algorithms and large-scale data processing
