This is a full-time on-site role for an AI Vision & Robotics Engineer , based in Chennai, India .


We’re looking for an engineer who can design, train, and deploy AI-driven perception systems for robotics and automation applications. You’ll collaborate closely with our Singapore HQ on active projects while while supporting R&D for future smart automation platforms — Lukk Vision 1.0 and Lukk Fleet 1.1 .


Key Responsibilities:


AI & Vision Development


  • Develop and optimize computer vision and deep learning models for object detection, classification, and inspection.
  • Work with OpenCV , TensorFlow , or PyTorch to build and deploy custom AI pipelines.
  • Annotate, preprocess, and manage datasets for training and testing.
  • Integrate AI models into robotics platforms through ROS2 and hardware interfaces.
  • Tune lighting and camera parameters for optimal detection accuracy.


System Integration & Deployment


  • Deploy AI/ML models on Jetson , NUC , or industrial PCs for edge inference.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and automation engineers to ensure seamless integration.

R&D & Innovation

Who we are looking for


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or Robotics.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in AI / Computer Vision / Robotics applications .
  • Strong programming skills in Python with experience in OpenCV , PyTorch , or TensorFlow .

  • Familiar with ROS/ROS2 and robotic hardware integration.
