We are on the lookout for corporate strategy professionals with the following skills.
Position title - Manager- Corporate Strategy & operations
Location :- Bengaluru
Experience - 6-10 yrs
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for identifying strategic issues affecting long-term growth and optimized returns, conceptualizing and executing analyses leading to practical recommendations for management.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelors degree or equivalent experience and training. A master's degree is preferred. Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in business and related activities.
Essential Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Contributes to the strategic decision-making process by providing recommendations, analysis, facilitation support, and process and program development in one of the following areas: Corporate strategy, the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development, Strategic alliances, Mergers and Acquisitions, Location expansion or Customer Management.
- Providing effective operational leadership to the team, to enable strategic foresight into the business and provide operational details and accurate information to colleagues and senior management while working with Functional heads and Senior Management professionals.
- Ensuring Organization wide Operational Excellence to achieve the set financial objectives and other operational performance indicators.
- Delivering strategic presentations to key stakeholders including the COO, CEO as well as assisting team with the annual financial budget and monthly forecast processes.
- Responsible for managing the profitability, involves working with the delivery, Sales & Domain teams to driving growth & profitability.
- Responsible for preparing and driving Strategic and Operational Plan and Budgets.
- Finalization of monthly/quarterly and yearly reporting & forecasting.
- Creates a planning model that supports the organization's mission and values based on an internal and external needs assessment.
- Monitors the external environment and identifies opportunities to fulfill the organizational strategy.
- Sets priorities for planning activities across all divisions and functions.
- Serves as strategic liaison for key organizational initiatives between various Solectron organizations, sites and customers.
- Assesses current models of business operations and develops appropriate new models as needed.
- Participates in policy development.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Experience in analyzing P&L statements and performing cost analyses.
- Strong business acumen, with an aptitude for both strategic, broad thinking and critical and analytical thinking.
- Able to facilitate Executive level discussions and navigate difficult situations by developing solid working relationships and using influence.
- Experience with maintaining and developing operational statistics, financial management information, and results reporting.
- Requires comprehensive understanding of business planning with responsibility to develop and implement improvements to the process and decisions.
- Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Demonstrates mastery of expertise in multiple areas and industry.
- Demonstrates mastery of operations and business planning knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
