We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to take charge of our store operations for a leading clothing and apparel company. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and strong in leadership, with proven experience in managing inventory, people, and processes.
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate stock control, efficient inbound & outbound handling, and team performance management, while driving best practices in compliance, safety, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations: Oversee day-to-day store functions, ensuring adherence to company policies and operational excellence.
- Inventory & Stock Audits: Maintain 100% accuracy in inventory through audits, cycle counts, and timely replenishment.
- Inbound & Outbound: Supervise receiving, dispatch, and order fulfillment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate store staff for maximum productivity and performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure incoming and outgoing stock meets required quality standards.
- Reporting & Documentation: Generate operational reports (stock audits, dispatch, utilization, etc.) for management review.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant store environment as per company and legal guidelines.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement policies, digital tools, and efficiency-driven practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Store Manager / Store Supervisor (preferably in clothing, textiles, apparel, retail, or related industries).
- Hands-on expertise in inventory management, audits, and ERP/WMS systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and digital store tools.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance practices.
- Candidates with experience in store setup, policy framing, and apparel industry will be preferred.
Education & Qualification
- MBA in Supply Chain / Operations Management or equivalent qualification.
- Preferred: Familiarity with ERP systems and prior experience in clothing/apparel industry.
