Roles and Responsibilities

Job Accountabilities 

• Daily run & evaluate Internal Quality controls, External quality controls run, result evaluation
• Lab equipment Preventive maintenance and calibration,
• Daily Lab investigation of PME, PEM, OPD & IPD  and Biological monitoring - urine phenol scheduling, follow up and testing
• Daily Lab test results check technically and release in the system
• NABL Co-ordination and documentations & maintain all records
• Emergency management related to lab
• Regular Lab staff training scheduling and conduction, New Joinee orientation, training  & Validation
• Testing for DM water, shower water and Hospital infection control related testing
• Test parameter calibration as per the protocol and Inter lab comparison testing as per the schedule

Education : Education qualification required as DMLT

Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in similar field

• Assisting senior technicians with routine laboratory procedures.
• Preparing reagents and solutions according to established protocols.
• Cleaning and sterilizing laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a molecular diagnostics or research laboratory setting.
• Extensive experience with a broad range of molecular biology techniques, particularly PCR, qPCR, and nucleic acid purification.
• Experience with NGS workflows and platforms is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation related to molecular assays.
• Strong understanding of molecular biology principles and their application in diagnostics.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic lab notebooks (ELN).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems independently.
