Job description:

• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through excellent communication skills

• Work on in-house requirements of design / planning if any, and provide necessary design inputs in required format as may be requested.

• Preparing 2D-3D Designs in AutoCAD/Sketch up, preparing presentation drawings, working drawing details as and when required.

• Review of schematic & working drawings for accuracy & quality. Coordinate with consultants for timely delivery.

• Day to day coordination including regular follow-ups with all external and internal stakeholders

• Coordinate with execution team to ensure drawing delivery from all consultants is in line with project schedule requirements, and be able to highlight bottlenecks well in advance.

• Participate in site visits and field inspections (as and when required) to ensure project quality and compliance

• Support project documentation and administration tasks as needed

• Complies with company defined guidelines and processes

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a renowned institution

• Prior work experience (in an architectural firm is preferred) of 8 to 10 years in architectural design, preferably of private residences.

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work on multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines

• Proficiency in the relevant tools like AutoCAD, Google Sketch-up and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Revit/BIM would be an added advantage

• Knowledge of building codes, local regulations and construction methods

• Must have a good command over English & local language with interpersonal skills

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior role.
• Proven experience leading design teams and managing architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong design skills, creativity, and technical proficiency across various project types.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Strong understanding of zoning laws, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior architectural staff.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and technical detailing of multiple corporate interior fit-out projects end-to-end.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage design development from concept to execution stages.
• Provide expert technical support and resolve complex on-site design challenges.
• Oversee coordination between design consultants, internal teams, and Project Managers.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in drawings prepared for builder submissions and GFC sets.
• Guide the design team in incorporating changes during the construction phase.
• Review, evaluate, and approve shop drawings submitted by consultants and vendors.

Skillset required

• Deep knowledge of interior fit-out design standards, codes, technical detailing, and statutory compliance.
• Leadership and project management capabilities; can mentor junior team members.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to make independent decisions.
• Willing to travel and oversee design delivery across multiple project sites.
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Revit is preferred.

Experience (Years) required

• 6 to 7 years of experience in managing design delivery for commercial or corporate interior fit-outs, with proven expertise in GFC preparation and site-level coordination
